Staples — Local services in Wooster

First Impressions are lasting ones. I stopped in today to go to the print center to get documents printed. I got this done all the time at the Staples Store in my old home town (I recently moved from out of state). I waited quietly behind someone at the print counter with a large, complex order. The rep took her time with his order (as she should) and when he left, I stepped up to the counter and began to say "Hello, How are you?" when she interrupted me by shoving her hand outward and saying "Before you say anything, it's going to be at least a 2 hour wait, I have a ton of other orders queued up"

To be honest, I was shocked at how rude and sudden this declaration was. Since the previous order was for a batch of business cards, I said "Oh, I only have two documents to print out" and she, again, put her hand up (interrupting me from finishing my sentence) and insisted that it did not matter and I had better just wait. I apologized for wasting her time, and left. It was 100% clear from the moment I approached the counter that her mind was made up, and she did not want to serve me. She was capable of good customer service, since I saw her taking the time to look something up for the customer in front of me (who worked for a large business who put big orders through their store all the time) so, the only conclusion I can come to is that I just wasn't worth her time. She didn't offer alternatives, solutions, or even a feigned apologetic tone. Just vitriol. An incredibly toxic individual. I understand we all have struggles and off days, but you have no idea what effect poor, hateful service can have on someone else who might also not be having the best go at life. I've worked as a customer service manager, and I've written up employees for less than what this individual did to me.

I found a better print store downtown, who were highly professional, courteous, and actually cheaper than Staples. So now I recommend them to everyone. Don't feel like you have to put up with this. You deserve better service...

Put it this way, I had to give it one star in order to review the store. Because in all honesty I would have did it a negative 5 stars. Usually when you walk into any kind of store products go along with the similar same kindof products.. all I want in for is a basic hand size daily scheduling pocket calendar, oh for sure they had it, 8 different prices, 8 different sizes all over the store not just in one area it was ridiculous. And from the moment I walked in all that could be heard was an Obnoxiously Loud Yelling, Unprofessional Boy, trying to act big boss man infront of the other employees.... Because they're absolutely want no customers show...

I had lot of Amazon returns and it took awhile. I got out of line 3 times let other customers have their turn. One of the supervisors came over said" I hope our system doesn't crash gave me dirty look. The man doing the returns made different negative comments. I left before I was done. Two days later I returned to finish my returns. Thankfully there was another person working the counter. He was helpful and had no problem waiting on me. He made the comment" your the lady staff was talking about with the returns. Again the unfriendly women association came over made some comments that were negative. I will never go in this...
