I went here a few occasions just for eyebrow waxing and getting tinsel put in my hair both times I went bad experience! First time I went there I got my eyebrows done and the ladyās name was Charlene and I feel like she talked too much while she was doing my eyebrows and also waxed half of them off my arches were gone and my eyebrows were short and thin had to wait for them to grow back out! I went up there explaining my experience with this and all they did was oh we will wait for them to grow back out and u can come back up there I said no Iām good I rather wax my own eyebrows.. second time I went there I wanted tinsel put in my hair I forgot the young girls name but she was nice but the work was bad the tinsel she crocheted in my hair ended up knotting my hair up and leaving dreads kinda like.. i called up there again talked to some lady and she told me I could come up and have them take it out but I didnāt want it out bc I had a concert that day and I was expecting for the tinsel to stay in my hair for 2 to 3 weeks but instead, it fell out 2 days prior of it having it done and create knots in my hair! I went to another salon and had them take it out it was damsging my hair and thinning out from the knots of the tinsel took an hour to get out of my hair! Both times bad experience I wouldnāt suggest going to the salon for any hair stuff or waxing! I feel like the girls there are very uneducated and inexperience! I could hear them talking all the way in the back of the store where I finally found what I needed. I go to check out and there was the other customer in front of mbe. She was checking out and the cashier asked her if she'd like to come in for some makeup thing and if she could sign her up. That customer declined. When it was my turn to check out the cashier, Courtney is what was on her name tag, greeted me with "what's your phone number" She punched it in and said "oh you aren't a member. Would you like to become one?" I declined because I don't know if I'll like what I'm getting. She then gave me the total, I paid. She said thanks and I was out the door and adding this review as soon as the door shut behind me. Horrible customer service, not helpful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile this location is cleaner than most Ultaās Iāve been to, and organized in a fairly easy way, the staff itself seem very disinterested or overly interested depending on the day. Some days I canāt even find a manager, and honestly I just want to commend them on some of their better employees, but it says a lot to me to find 2 employees running the floor, one of whom cannot leave her post at the register, and not a manager in sight, which we all know there has to be at least one for the store to remain open.
I know Ulta has a salon, but never once has anyone approached me to discuss with me the benefits of the Salon at Ulta. What can I get done there? Do my Ulta rewards count towards services? Thereās so much I donāt know, and can never seem to find anyone willing to tell me.
Seems to me like Ulta needs to do an overhaul on the staff, or retrain...
