Their burgers are absolutely delicious and their fries are awesome. The prices are a little higher than the average fast food place, but because the food is made fresh with quality ingredients, the food is worth every penny. Their regular burgers are actually double burgers, so the "little" versions of each burger they feature are actually normal sized burgers. The portion of fries you get are very generous. They have a great variety of soft drinks, they even have Pibb Zero, I didn't even know that existed.
Their fries are made from fresh potatoes that are cut daily with no cholesterol or preservatives and cooked in 100% peanut oil. Their burgers are made with fresh beef with no fillers or preservatives and cooked juicy and well done.
The decor is that of a classic burger joint from the 50's, or at least that's what it seems to be. The place is clean. The customer service is very good and the manager on duty had strong command over his staff. He was actually the person who cooked my burger and he did a great job, as did the rest of the staff.
My experience on 8-5-17:
I ordered a cheeseburger "all the way", which includes mayo, lettuce, pickles, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, and mustard, and I added jalapenos. You can add any toppings they offer for no additional charge. I also ordered a medium fry and a medium drink. I could have went with the "little" version of both the burger and the fries and it would have more than sufficed. My burger was delicious and the fries were excellent.
The customer service was friendly and prompt and the store was kept clean. I definitely recommend 5 Guys and will return to try some of their...
Read moreI go into this establishment today and place an order for fries and 2 milkshakes. I then asked if I can have just an empty cup so that I can place the 2 milkshakes I purchased into 1 cup instead of having to drink my milkshakes out of 2 separate cups ( because the milkshakes they have only come in 1 size and thats a small). The lady making my shakes(the manager) tells me I have to pay for the empty cup which i didn't understand why since i just spent $20 on fries and 2 small shakes. But I went ahead and was going to buy the cup, so i asked how much for the cup, she rings up a large drink and tells me i have to pay almost $4 for the EMPTY CUP!!!. I then say no,I don't want a drink, I just wanted an empty cup to place the 2 milkshakes I bought into 1 cup. I have done this multiple times because Im always ordering 5 guys food and shakes and always spend over 50.00. But again thats the Cleveland location who truly practices customer service. But to try and charge me almost $4 for an empty cup is ridiculous. I don't understand why it's so hard to please a customers simple request, all i wanted was to place 2 shakes into 1 cup. I can spend my money here but can't even get a empty cup?? Who charges a customer $4 for an empty cup. That is ridiculous. I'm very disappointed in the Wooster Ohio location. They have definitely lost a fan of Five Guys, and a...

Seriously though best franchise burger joint you can find across the US. Five Guys is a great example of how simplification and attention to detail pays off which I personally feel most restaurants have given up.
Almost every other chain has a massive menu of items that are mediocre at best because they're prepared in ways that make them simple to cook and like a swiss army knife it comes down to quantity over quality.
Five Guys may not offer much but what they lack in quantity they make up for tenfold in quality. They've taken the burger back to basics allowing the same consistency as their competitors but with a far superior product as an end result.
TL;DR: If you've never had Five Guys you'd be hard pressed to find a better burger place you can get almost...
