I had went into House of Silvia before to get rid of two old rings (I had never been there before) and while I was there the woman helping me commented on my pearl engagement saying she was a pearl specialist and had never seen anything like it. (In a good way)

A few weeks later i hit my engagement ring and wedding band off of a metal bar and put a nice size crack in my pearl and ruined the profs and leaves on my ring. I was devestated as my engagement ring came from Israel and was custom made for me by my husband and the jeweler. I have only been married a little under a year and my rings are very special and Beautiful to me. I reached out to the jeweler in Israel, but needless to say it took a while to hear back and even if she would have helped it would have taken quite a while to ship my engagement ring (she wouldn’t work on the wedding bands as they were purchased elsewhere which is understandable) there have her work on it and get it back and on top of that how much the cost would be since it was custom.

I had then remembered about selling my old rings and the girl telling me she was a pearl specialist so the next day I went into the House of Silvia (after I had called a few places and no one wanted to attempt to fix both rings since the engagement ring was unique and custom). I went in with both rings with the intenion of just hoping to get advice about my engagement ring worried that like every where else they couldn’t help.

Let me tell you I was so grateful. Not only did Jennifer make me feel comfortable that BOTH my rings would get fixed she made me feel like I didn’t have to worry about them getting ruined either. I dropped my rings off after finding out what pear was needed and 8 days later went into pick up my rings! I was blown away by the attention to detail and all they fixed. Not only did they replace my pearl (and gave me the original to keep), they fixed the prongs the leafs shaped out of rose gold that hold the diamonds surrounding the pearl, they buffed out scratches on both rings and refinished the gold and even saudered the rings together because little did I know they were rubbing against each other and creating more scratches!! I first met Christian and his wonderful staff at House of Silva in January of 2015, when my fiancee and I began working with him to custom design a non-traditional engagement ring and wedding band for her. We both wanted something that reflected our simple, practical values and our love of nature. Christian was both patient and professional in every way as we worked back and forth through the five month design and fabrication process. The end result was beautiful and incorporated every detail we were looking for. The technical craftsmanship of Christian's work has been noticed by everyone who has seen the ring in the years since. There was one minor glitch in the sizing of the ring which was corrected immediately and without question. In the nearly four years since that first meeting, we have been back to have the ring cleaned and inspected many times. Even though we haven't purchased another item from them, each experience has been like meeting up with friends you haven't seen for years. Christian, Jennifer, and the other staff treat everyone as if they have known them forever, and they genuinely care about how you are doing and what they can do for you. House of Silva is a great jewelry store to work with. I received a ring as a gift after my mother in law had passed away. It had been her ring and it was too small for me to wear and so I had some other things made from it. The original ring consisted of a large marquis ruby and 8 small diamonds. They took out the large ruby and made it into a beautiful pendant necklace and used the 8 small diamonds to make a ring for my daughter. Both pieces are stunning. They previously made my daughter's wedding ring and Christian (the owner) made such a beautiful piece. Jennifer (the sales associate) was more than wonderful to work with. She listened, helped me pick out something that would be meaningful and also shared kind words when my emotions got the best of me.
