Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Wooster

We walked in tonight we have been in several times. We generally love this place. Tonight however was awful. I brushed it off at first that it was just teenagers however we waited a good 20min for our food we got out fries first they were well done ended up tossing well over half away. The kid Brayden was goofy off with his buddies that don't even work there one of which went behind the counter acting like he worked there he did not. We finally got our sandwiches they were awful like I found raw meat in my sandwiched and ended up tossing it. Mean while I had my young daughter with me and him and his freinds were just being extra rude acting like they own the place I really felt bad for Brittany and the other kid working. I spoke with Brittany who should be the manager she did Apologize. The other gentleman that was a employees did a very good job as well. Also to top it off after Braydens freinds left he walked near the back and startered vaping in plain site of guests. I hope who ever is incharge of fire people note that he doesn't know how to do his job and should be fired. I know we won't be back till he his gone. He has zero responsibility and zero respect for Brittany littlery told her she wasn't incharge that he was incharge. Brittany handle it well because I would have fired him on the spot. He has some growing up todo if he's going to make it in life. And even my 10 year daughter was in shock at how he was acting with his freinds and his employee. Amazes me how this place is still even in business at this location. Service was okay but also rude which always seems to be the theme with this negative attitude ridden place. Ordered their classic cheese steak and replaced the mushrooms with bacon. Bad idea on getting the bacon since it was aged, chewy, and severely under cooked. Steak itself on the sandwich didn't even taste fresh nor looked the part of anything worth ingesting. So much condiment placement on the bread to the point it was soaked like as if it was completely submerged in mayonnaise 🤮. But mainly my reason for the negative review was after ingesting this monstrosity of a sandwich I felt like I had a mild case of food poisoning.🤢 Stay away from this place at all costs and have the health department investigate some of the practices that go on here. Consume and spend your money on other more successful sandwich crafting shops in Wooster like Jersey Mike's not...

What sets this location apart from anywhere else is the service. I am out of town on business and this location is very convenient for me on my lunch break.

By my second visit this week the team knows my order and the manager on duty, (Steve?), knows my name. Literally said, "Hey Ryan!", when I walked in today.

Where else do you get this kind of service?

I love Penn Stations cheese steaks. But this location is unique because the people really show their appreciation for your business.
