Local cantina — Restaurant in Worth Township

Reviews / Interests on Local Cantina in Oak Lawn.. Chicago DJ Network has been to three events and this new place In Oak Lawn Illinois . Our reviews include : over crowding, especially at the front door where it can be dangerous in emergency situations. The restrooms cannot handle the over capacity crowds and are very unhygienic. Have seen tables that are RSVP are timed until about 10pm before released too patrions already there unless you are a close friend of staff or owner which we experienced yesterday and where asked to leave our table after sitting for over three hours at a back table that was not marked or roped off as RSVP. Basically a table by bathroom and kitchen. There are no floor staff so you have to go-to the bar and wait to order a drink. Not once did anyone come to our table to ask if we would like to order a drink or bar food. Audio is centralized at the front of the bar and is not the best quality. There is no dancefloor but patrons move tables to try to squeeze and make a dancefloor. With all the other places in Oak Lawn to goto we give Local Cantina...

Watched the Bears game at this place. The owner literally had a buffet spread for free while we enjoyed the game.

He also had a few others games going at the same time. Local bar vibe with a beautiful Latin inspired interior. He has a día de los muertos decor vibe going.

I’d very much come back to this Place and see what they have going for night...

The food is great. DJ is awesome.... Make sure you sit at the bar. This is "self service" so if you sit at a table you have to order at the bar... that's fine... but when your food comes and your not aware that its self service and they don't give you a napkin you have to go to the bar and get it. The bartender was not friendly...
