No I have left about eight months to sit and think before I left this review. In April, my then fiancé and I Went to Martin Martin to look for engagement and wedding rings. We had already checked places like Fey & co.

The salesman wore a hoodie and jeans and did not offer a lot of information in terms of what we should be looking for as a buyer. I was the one who had to ask if we could look for the diamond under a microscope and if there was paperwork, etc., etc., with the paperwork meant etc., etc.

We did end up purchasing On site and that day for the engagement ring, and two wedding rings with a total around 13 or $14,000 cash. I received a compliment on my ring every other day no joke.

The wedding ring and engagement ring arrived on time, but there was a slight delay with my husband’s wedding band. I went to pick it up the day before our wedding, and it was not there. I was upset due to the stress of everything else I was planning and a man behind the counter told me “don’t get your panties in a bunch”. I later found out this was the owner.

If my husband, I could Go back we never would’ve given this business or money. I don’t know if it’s because I’m an interracial couple that he had such a disgusting attitude or response towards me. But I definitely would not recommend anybody going here.

The craziest thing is I saw a gorgeous pair of earrings that I wanted to purchase when I went to pick up his wedding band. And no matter the price, I would’ve purchased them. However, his filthy attitude made me so uncomfortable and ashamed I didn’t even wanna ask about the earrings. I was not welcome there. I don’t ever feel welcome there.

It’s still messes with me that the day before my wedding my husband‘s wedding band was 48 hours late arriving, and the owner of this place told me “not to get my panties in a bunch”.

Either Martin Senior is delusional, racist, Or a total lunatic. I’m not sure. But I won’t Be going back for...

My husband and I purchased our wedding rings there with no issues. He went back a month later and a bought me a black diamond band. The black rhodium started chipping off so we took it back for them to apply black rhodium plating on the ring. My husband picked it up and it looked like they mistakenly removed the black rhodium. So we took it back again and this time when we got it back it looked almost silver. I communicated that the ring was black when we made the purchase. The sales associate said perhaps I was not remembering it correctly. I pulled out a picture of the ring when it was purchased and the salesman said it was the angle of the light that made it look so dark. I told him it was their picture of the ring. Meanwhile the owner came out and just stood behind the salesman saying nothing. The salesman finally throws his hands up and says well if I could do something for you I would. I have to rate the store, for this interaction, one star. It's disappointing service after spending $5500 on our rings. My grandfather and father had a long history with Martin & Martin and we went to them because of their reputation. I'm more than disappointed that they didn't stand behind the ring they sold us.

Update as of November 2, 2016 After seeing this review the salesman/ manager got in touch with me about the black rodium ring to correct the issue. They purchased the same ring from Hong Kong and traded it for my defective ring. I appreciate them taking some action. They've always had such a great reputation I hope when clients are not satisfied in the future it doesn't take a bad review and five months to rectify.
