I'm going to give them 3 stars because Tom, I believe, helped to resolve my issue. My son flew in to get a suit for his graduation. They didn't have his size and needed to order one that fits. My son also needed alterations to his pants. Cool. He flies back to school, and I got up there to pick everything up around 3:30. When I arrived, the lady who helped us was working with someone else. Another young lady intervened and found his pants and shirt. When I asked about the jacket, she went back to look for it. She then asked the lady who had originally assisted us. It's as if she had seen a ghost. She started mumbling something to the lady who then came over to say it wasn't in. I asked how come you all didn't call to let me know. I was told I could pick up my purchase after 3pm. My original salesperson goes on to say she told me she would call me. Now, I might be a lot of things, but I ain't crazy enough to drive all the way to 96th Cicero from 55th when gas is $1.000 per gallon (yeah, a little exaggeration here...lol). The original sales lady copped the worst attitude and said something sassy while snapping her neck and rolling her eyes. I said I don't understand why you have an attitude when I just drove all the way over here. Anyway, this interaction had to be one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional experiences of my life. As much as I hate to say it, Black women can be some of the rudest people to deal with. If my son hadn't flown back to school already, I would have taken my business elsewhere. By the way, I was told that the original order never came. The manager had to order another one and it came. Personally, I don't think the first one was ever ordered. So, 3 stars to those who put the work in to make it happen with the delivery of my son's jacket. I'll definitely make this store my absolute last option...
Read moreMy fiancé and I came in on 1/29/22 for a wedding consultation. We scheduled the appointment online. When we entered we were not greeted. We went to the back where they do wedding consultations and nobody said a word to us. The 2 ladies at the desk were just sitting there talking. Then another group approached the back, and one of the ladies got up and serviced them first even though they came after us. Still not a word said to us. Finally the other lady gets up and approaches us to ask what we need. We tell her we have an appointment and then she very unenthusiastically motions to the different options with her arm. Not helpful at all. She gave my fiancé a jacket to try on and just stood there while he and I went off to try it on. We ended up leaving about 5 minutes into our appointment because the customer service was just not there. Doing stuff for our wedding is supposed to be special, and we did not feel that at the Oak Lawn location. She was very detached/emotionless and basically wanted my fiancé to pick stuff out himself, instead of showing us the options. We ended up making an appointment at the Orland location and it was like night and day. The employee knew what he was talking about and was so helpful. He explained everything to us first and was able to answer our questions. The customer service was great there and all the employees greeted us at one point. If you are able to , go the Orland...
Read moreWalked in at 3:00 on a Thursday. There was 1 other customer being taken care of. After a half hearted âhiâ from the guy working the pos, I started shopping for suits. I wanted to buy 2 or more to have more selections for work. I walked the same 4-5 isles for approximately 40 minutes checking every jacket, pant and vest for my size so no one had to do their jobs. I didnât find any pants in a 36x34 in any fit. But thatâs not why I didnât buy anything. After wandering around the store for about 10-15 minutes, waiting to see if any of the people who worked there would offer help, I realized that the two girls at the front door were so engulfed in their own private conversation that I wasnât getting anything from them, then lady working the counter for fittings had her face buried in her phone, one guy was standing on the floor staring into space hoping to God I wouldnât bother him and the first guy who at least said âhiâ was gone. After all that, I walked out. Wont come back. Wont recommend them. The...
