We moved our things in and within a week our unit was infested with roaches. We stored mostly just supplies for my online storefront (Some small appliances, shipping materials, sealed unused grill accessories), so nothing that would attract them.. storage facility refused to follow up, we had to drag them out there to see the roaches for themselves, then they tried blaming us, refused to hire professionals ( we even offered to pay to see where they originated because we wanted to be reimbursed for our things thay we can't bring back into our home now.) We ended up having to leave most of our things, in the end, the only compensation they gave was zeroing out our balance for the month.. I doubt they even gave neighboring units a heads up. This storage facility is a terrible places to keep...

Very upset with Southside storage. They really have made renting a storage unit very inconvenience. First of all I rented a unit on March 19th in the morning. Paid received codes . loaded up when to the storage place and the codes did not work. Stopped back explained code didn't work . Got another one. Went back got to the unit and Southside lock is on it. And the person that set this up couldn't come and remove the lock till at 1:15pm. Finally got it put everything away. Went back April 11th. Codes didn't work. Call then s, topped at the office. I was told a payment was due on April 1st. Even though I paid i full on March 19th. Well it was prorated. Got another temp code. Gate open. But red lock on storage unit. Not sure it I want to keep using...

We reserved a unit and when we attempted to make payment on the move in date we were told the unit was no longer available. We purchased a different unit and were given a security code. The code did not work. Our code was changed and we were given another code and that did not work. The third attempt to get us a security code to enter the premises so that we can get to our unit was also unsuccessful. The staff on location was very friendly and helpful. We were given a temporary code and have not been updated on the situation since. We are told that our rental agreement is in their system but it is not linking up with their...
