New Beginnings Restaurant — Restaurant in Kentwood

I love this place everyone should give it a try in fact I'm going back again today with my mom and my aunt the food is really good they give really nice portions for the price service is always friendly and smiling and excellent there's nothing I can complain about with that with this restaurant at all just go there the sausage gravy is everything actually it's one thing I can't complain about I don't really like their pancakes they're not really fluffy enough for me but you guys can try them out they have waffles they serve breakfast all day well until 2:00 that's the only negative I see besides pancakes is that the place closes at 2:00 when they should stay open until at least 12:00 a.m. but I really like it everyone should give it a try great food good...

For the last 25 years, I have eaten at New Beginnings every Saturday morning with my dad. Since I have younger siblings, those daddy-daughter breakfast dates became even more important. The food is excellent—few of my favorites are the Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, and the Greek omelette. The oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins is delicious as well. The staff always greet you with a smile and treat you like family. Not many restaurants do that these days. 😔 If you’re looking to have a nice sticks-to-your-ribs meal at a reasonable price, I strongly recommend...

Typical diner with friendly and attentive staff. Numerous times people at our table would have drinks refilled so stealthily we didn't even know it had been done! That is talent lol

Food was better than expected for diner breakfast fare. My waffle was toasted on the griddle which added great flavoring and texture to it. Syrup came on the side and hot. I asked for strawberries on mine and got the choice of hot or cold. Bonus points for that.

Free grilled onions with food which makes me very happy! I got cheesy breakfast potatoes and they didn't skimp.

Would comeback again with family...
