Mexicana Bakery Jalisco — Restaurant in Kentwood

Stopped in to check this out for the first time today. Great new bakery close to my office.

The service was exceptional, they have an awesome selection of doughnuts, flan, cookies, churros, breads, cheesecakes and more! The prices are very reasonable. Nice, clean place in a great location. I tried one of their churros and a slice of pie, they were both very good! Brought back Churros and cookies for some of our employees and everyone enjoyed them.

They are announcing a to be a bakery and cafe place . I went to try it with my Familiy. Mexican pastries are good but place is missing other type of options for beverages to be a cafe place to drink with a concha or other pastries. They only offer chocomilk with regular milk and coffee. No teas, no other type of milk for ppl that lactose intolerant etc. so I ended up eating a concha with no beverage and so my family. Not happy when I went. Hope owners they add better beverages...

Amazing cake! Got a birthday cake here, asked for chocolate with chocolate frosting. They weren't able to do chocolate frosting, and I said that was fine. They went above and beyond! They added a chocolate top for me and cookies and cream type frosting on top. They also added chocolate sticks in it. It tasted amazing too.

Asked them to write Happy Birthday on it. They wrote Happy Birtday, which is honestly better and made me giggle. 10/10,...
