I’ve always liked coming here because their drinks were good. However, today the person working at the front register wasn’t the nicest. The guy with the tattoo on his arms, avoid him. Will come here again, but if he is at the register, I will ask for someone else or take my business elsewhere.
Edit: Not sure if he had a tattoo. Also the reason why he wasn’t the nicest was because he yelled at my brother for getting stickers, nobody I mean NOBODY, informed us that the stickers were limited. Me, my girlfriend, and my brother were initially happy to see that there are anime stickers that were out for grabs so we put it on our shirts to remember this day, weird, but it was because we had lots planned for the rest of the day. We didn’t keep up with their social media, so we wouldn’t have know, so don’t blame it on “why didn’t you check our social media post, we let everyone know?” we didn’t have the guy cashier at first, whoever was before him didn’t say anything to us, the plexiglass muffled anything they said, if they said anything, so speak up more. Put signs up or something to let customers know its limited or out of view for people to ask for them. I’m upset that you yelled at my brother, and if he would have known, he wouldn’t have gone to grab another. Almost ruined our special day, do you value your stickers more because they are limited? Don’t yell at a child or any customer, think from a customers point of view who doesn’t keep up with social media and comes in on a whim. Good drinks, inconsistent desserts, today looked better than many of the other days I came, poor management and customer service, even if it was busy. Learn to handle this type of situation. I might stick to ordering from the app to avoid this type of thing to happen again. All this...
Read moreI didn't know I was a fan of Boba/bubble tea, until someone gave me a chance to try (started with the Cocoa Cream Wow as an introductory drink), and now our whole household is OBSESSED. We've tried a few different things now, like Chai milk, coconut milk tea, black tea... usually with the Wow (brown sugar!!) Bubbles (though sometimes the coffee popping bubbles), and always a Milk Cap! This is so great. Really addictive, unfortunately for my wallet. Some of the items (like "toppings", when they are bubbles that sink to the bottom) are unclear as to what they are, so definitely ask if you aren't sure what to add. We also ran into several instances over a couple weeks of a certain flavor being out, but there's so much on the menu that is great, I have no problem picking something different to drink. There is an app that you can order ahead of time, but the company overall doesn't do a great job of explaining what things are, and the app doesn't tell you if something is unavailable, so the easiest thing to do is just go in and order. I have yet to try any of their desserts, but they look SO good, I'll be...
Read moreThe Grand Rapids Kung Fu Tea is back, and it's better than ever! From the moment you walk in, the guest service is absolutely stellar – friendly, patient, and genuinely excited to craft your perfect bubble tea. The ingredients are noticeably fresh, making each sip a burst of flavor, and the prices are incredibly wallet-friendly. With their kid-friendly options of caffeine free or lactaid free drinks, and ordering ahead on the Kung Fu Tea app was a breeze, making pickup seamless. I also learned I could earn rewards towards future drinks and they have locations all over the US. If you're a bubble tea fan, or even just curious, this is the place to be! I went during their Grand Re-Opening this weekend, I met the owner Desmond and his hard working team that created an environment welcome to all. They even do catering for events and their space is great for large groups to gather too! I can’t wait to come back to get my boba fix and bring family and...
