ATTENTION : I have been a loyal customer to yadkin vision center for 30 years until now. I had my eye exam and wanted to get glasses and contacts. I first tried in the contacts the same day as my eye exam. I immediately expressed that my vision was too blurry through them and I couldn't see. I felt that the prescription was too strong. I continued to wear my old glasses until my new ones come in being that I couldn't see through the contacts with the new prescription. Weeks later my glasses arrived and low and behold I couldn't see out of them either. They were too strong as well, I could barely walk I felt so dizzy. I expressed my concerns over and over and was told that my eyes just needed to adjust. I couldn't see to drive with them, I could wear them at work, I just couldn't get used to them. So I went back in and expressed that the glasses just wasn't going to work for me. So they set me up another appointment. However I was treated so poorly and a rude comment was made to me so I never went back. I have talked to workers in the East Bend office to try and get something done. I also spoke with the manager at the office in yadkinville. I was told that nothing could be done. So at no fault of my own I'm stuck with glasses that are too strong for me that I can't wear and contacts that my insurance paid for that they have at the eye doctor which I was told the contacts was sent back. I went somewhere else for my eye exam this year which hasn't even been a full year from my previous one at Yadkin Vision. Once my eyes were examined and my new glasses was taken with me so the prescription on them could be read, I was right they was way to strong for my eyes. Had I wore those glasses my eyes would have gotten much worse. Iws told by the manager Tammy at Yadkin Vision that my prescription could have changed in a years time but either a person's eyes will stay the same or have a slight change for the worse. My new eye exam confirmed that my vision wasn't as bad as they was saying it was at Yadkin Vision. Eyes don't magically get better. I asked for my prescription before the most recent one and Yadkin Vision but was denied the information saying it couldn't be given over the phone. All I want is my lens in my right prescription put in my glasses so I can wear what I paid for and I want my contacts in my right prescription that are already paid for or my money back!! It wasn't time for me to have my eyes examined again but I thought I had a eye infection from crying for 21 days straight after losing my mother. Yadkin Vision wouldn't accept my new insurance and since I have been treated so poorly I took my business elsewhere. Not only am I grieving but now I'm aced with this mess that could easily be fixed. II WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO YADKIN VISION CENTER!! You will always be surprised with new pop up bills and fees and I have been proven too that customers doesn't matter. I have a couple of family members that has had issues with them as well. I'm out of hard earned money, I'm out of contacts, and glasses. Please save yourselves some trouble and go somewhere else where you will be cared about and treated properly. If there is anyone that Is above Tammy the manager, I would like to...
Read moreWent to the yadkin location around 11 a.m. yesterday morning. Staff was very friendly and considerate. I saw Dr. Scott about my vision being suddenly blurry in one eye. After he established my change in vision he then proceeded to tell me that my vision is that of a 60 year not 28 year old in that eye. He then proceeded to tell me that he was "stumped and it takes alot to stop him." He said this multiple times while smiling. I asked the nurse if he though I was faking it? She said "well it does take alot to stump him, and if he dont have an answer...?? " I was applaud! Instead of offering a form of eye drops/care, or even lenses, he insisted I come back in a month and it will probably have healed itself! Later the same day I went to a different optometrist in Advance and was told that my lens was scratched and that my vision had in fact changed in the same eye and informed me after 2 weeks of drops for my scratched lens I can come back and establish a new prescription for the same eye. This optometrist informed me that yes the vision in my eye was not that of a 28yr old but it was no problem to fix. He then asked for the information of Dr. Scott and proceeded to tell me that they receive an est. Total of 1000 patients of yadkin vision centers every year. 13 so far this year. Yadkin vision center would be a great place for someone who has an established prescription, but not for someone who has noticed a sudden change and finally made an appt after 10years just to be informed they...
Read moreCalled to order contacts and had to leave a message three days in a row. After not getting a return call, called back and asked for the office manager and she got me to someone to place the order (July 16). Today (Aug 23) I called back to see if my contacts had come in. Was told they had arrived July-21 and that the auto attendant had left 3 text messages that I did not received. When investigated it had not been set up. This is terrible customer service. Was told that they don't make person calls until 60 days. Ridiculous! Drs Gordon need to get their staff in order. I wanted to stay with a local Doc, but I'm not putting...
