Went in pretty late Thursday night after graduation my family was waiting for me to arrive and had already ordered. We wanted to order a drink and we were told that since they'd be closing soon they would not be serving alcohol--ok I guess understandable. Our server then brought my husband and I our menus gave us literally 2 minutes and then ripped them out if our hands while asking "are you ready?" I had so little to to browse the menu I said I'd get the same chicken enchiladas my brother got. After receiving my food, I realized I received pork enchiladas I DO NOT EAT PORK. I kindly asked her to fix it and rather than taking my plate she stood there and argued with me that what I ordered had pork. My mother stopped her mid-sentence and told her "We'll still pay for this she just wants chicken." She's stormed off rudely to the kitchen and arrived with my plate chile verde enchiladas that didn't taste so bad but tasted like they had opened up a can of Herdez green salsa and poured it over Luke warm enchiladas didn't taste very authentic to me. My Sister later asked for an Agua de jimica and our waitress came back a few moments later with a Mt. Dew; I'm not sure if she did it out of spite or if she forgot what she had ordered from where we were sitting to the kitchen, but if that was the case you would assume that a good waitress would come back and POLIETLY ask again what the drink was. Even if the rest of my family's food was decent; when people get bad service, they...
Read moreI wanted to love this place because I love the one on Terrace Heights Dr but it was a bad version of it
You walk in to a giant handwritten sign that says you only get 2 baskets of chips & will be charged for the 3. Ok cool, good to know.
It was very empty for a Friday night around dinner time even so it took a long time to get a server to come to our table.
Once you are seated in the most uncomfortable, sunken in, low to the ground bench seats with a table that is such a tight squeeze that if you are bigger than a size 4, a medium sized man, pregnant or even take a deep breathe you are risking the table digging in and possibly breaking your ribs.
We asked for a drinks menu and we're handed a bent, sticky, faded menu with generic drink listing's like "Margarita" and "Pina Colada" no flavor option's no beer list.
The menu looked generic and limited. Nothing to rave about.
I am sure some people would like this place but if you are looking for authentic Mexican food with good service. I would not...
Read moreWhen we arrived we waited to be seated like usual. The host was on the phone, another family walked in. When the host was finished with the call he left without acknowledging us. Another family walked and now we are all still waiting. A waiter walked by with a tray of drinks and I asked is there anyone who can help us? He rudely replied " No you have to wait!" a group of military men came in and are now also waiting. The host finally comes back but he does not acknowledge any of us! We can't believe what it happening. I'm sure the host now knows we are unhappy, he grabs a handful of menus and slams them down, then he looks at me and asks how many? I look at him and I said "forget it we're going somewhere else" we left.and the military men left too. Poor Poor customer service! That's too bad because we were looking forward to having a good lunch. Customer...
