The atmosphere and the service: We arrived on the earlier side of 6:00 p.m. and upon entering the restaurant we thought we’d be more inclined to find a place like this in a trendier, more upscale location. The aesthetic was country chic with an appealing color palate and good lighting. We were greeted by 2 smiling young ladies who were happy to seat us after only a small delay. We were given 2 food menus and a drink menu to peruse and had ice water on the table before I could slide in my chair. Our server was friendly, professional and attentive the entire time we were there. If a dish or drink was finished, it was removed from the table by any one of 3 or 4 floaters checking on everyone constantly.
The Drinks: My wife ordered the 067 smash, a rum drink made with fresh fruit juice as it had some pulp in it, which was unexpected and appreciated. I ordered the smoked old fashioned which had a great presentation but showed the youth of the bourbon as they have only been distilling around a year. I’d also recommend using Luxardo cherries in the future. My second drink, a margarita, was on point and one of the best I’ve ever had.
The Food: I’m not a gusher, but I have to say the food was near flawless. The nachos pictured (after we ate some 😊) were the freshest tasting I’ve ever had in a restaurant. They use 2 cheeses and lots of fresh veggies. The jalapenos were pickled, which worked better than fresh in that instance and to my delight, they used hot pickled carrots, which I love! The Mexican street corn app was very good and a decent sized portion to share. It could be just a bit creamier and have Cotija cheese on top, but we really enjoyed it. My wife had the chili, which she said was very flavorful and meaty, with only a few beans. The fajitas were the best I’ve had in Bucks County. They came with freshly made tortillas, although I did have to ask for more as the 3 they give you will not hold all the food the dish offers. The huge shrimp were perfectly cooked and the steak was rare as requested. There was a ton of perfectly seasoned and cooked onions and peppers. The accompaniments of cilantro lime rice and black beans were very good, as well as the freshly made pico de gallo. They included cheese and sour cream as well. I ordered a small side of guacamole, because, why not?
Conclusion: With the sub-par Mexican food in the area, this newly opened Tex-Mex place will satisfy your south-of-the-border cravings and exceed the most demanding...

0 stars staff told us we were a liability because we had kids. don’t waste your time place is trash. Host was nice but other than that - very unwelcoming and rude. Wife was very excited to try this place.
I wouldn't recommend this establishment if you have children.
GENERAL MANAGER AND OWNER are rude and delusional, GM told us to leave because we had children.
We left, don’t waste your time. Place is trash.
RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT.
I’ll comment here - I have 0 time to argue with you. Your establishment is horrible - you have 1 high chair. He was not unattended, your general manager asked us to put our baby on an unstable high top STOOL, he was in a car seat. Get your facts right Mrs Rabena. My baby was NOT unattended- our whole family was sitting at the table (to eat dinner) with our 2 year old daughter and 5 month old son - who was in a car seat next to us, when your GM told us to put him on an unstable bar stool because they are a liability and that he doesn’t need to accommodate us, but he has to. Stop spewing lies Rabena - you look silly. Y
your place is absolute trash- invest in more than 1 high chair and then we can call your dive bar/5 table restaurant family friendly. 😂 post the footage so we can see how unattended we left our baby at a...
Read moreThe food was good, atmosphere is nice, waitress was kind. Why only two stars? The menu had multiple mistakes one including a menu item not listing chicken. I am a vegetarian and ended up eating the chicken. Luckily for me it’s not a big deal, but the menu was also missing onions on an item, as well as sour cream which people can be very allergic to. When requesting the item to be removed from my bill, I had an unkind interaction with the general manager who did not seem to understand service recovery. He told me “I don’t want to debate you” after I stated it wasn’t right to have servers memorize all the mistakes the menu was missing, and be liable for someone ingesting an item they should not have eaten. I hope I do not have to interact with this general manager again because he was unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional despite my kind and calm demeanor. Lastly, the restaurant has been open for 5 days, maybe more. A successful business should have small items like menu reprints fixed by now, but that’s...
