Attended here in 2021, and the entire experience was a waste of time and money. They really allow anyone to attend the classes, they had one student who jumped over the tables trying to fight another student over them having different opinions. The teachers are unorganized and lack any form of collaboration.
Youâre treated like youâre part of the high school rather than an adult, I actually think I had more respect and freewill during my high school years compared to their adult programs. They treat students that have trouble with certain sections like theyâre liars and will tell you to your face, âThey canât take your word for it.â And will send you off to fail some more. Their rules are bogus when it comes to clinical, I worked at a hospital after withdrawing and they cackled at the things that all the students were told were nonnegotiable for the workforce.
I sadly experienced a miscarriage during my time there, and was bleeding fairly heavily from it. I went to talk to the woman that is the head of the program, where she told me that I wouldnât know if it was a miscarriage, itâs probably a heavy period. Hereâs some pads, go back to class. Same woman who was gossiping about my withdrawal with the administration lady after I sent them an email and didnât expect me to walk by to clean out my locker. They also told a friend whose brother was in the hospital in a coma from a car accident and had the possibility of never walking again that it wasnât worth her missing school to visit him because, âItâs going to end one of two ways, and neither is good or worth it.â I could go on and on, but it really isnât anyone who wants to get what they pay for, or at the very least have some knowledge to...
Read moreI really want to resign and go to another weld school if that's possible. We see our instructor once every two weeks and its for about 20 min. Nothing is as planned on our schedule or prepared before class so allot of wasted time. We have students training us who are not Pennsylvania certified. Also our paper work is semi incorrect. As we go over it our teacher makes corrections on his work. I love the class and everyone in it but me being the one who thinks ahead, I think we are all being set up for failure. How is it that only one person from that class made it to 50 dollars a hr as promised to all students. Others are still at the school. I ask for assistance and I'm told im right by 2 teachers and I'm wrong by 4 teachers but I'm ahead of everyone?đđhmm. No one can give us straight answers to how anything is supposed to be and at this point I feel as though I can learn more from YouTube in my uncle's weld shop instead of the $15000 class that is...
Read moreadministration is horrible, no communication & they just donât care about anyone elseâs time. they will string you along for months & change things with no notice. they changed our graduation date two times not caring that people have family out of state visiting. administration constantly lies, they have no idea what they are doing. they claim they send out paperwork when they never do, or lose paperwork & claim they never got it. it has been a nightmare dealing with the two women in administration since day one. administration will not allow adult ed teachers to fail anyone no matter how bad their grades are or how much time they miss because they are more concerned with the schoolâs reputation over quality education. also not to mention the good reviews here are only because teachers gave good grades/extra credit in turn for...
