We got Fried Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Pork Spare Ribs, Pork Egg Rolls, Pepper Steak, Mongolian Beef, House Special Lo Mein, Vegetable Fried Rice, and Vegetable Lo Mein.
First, the good: the spare ribs, pepper steak, and mongolian beef were all rather excellent. All of us agreed those three stood out. Also the dumplings and rangoon were good and as expected. Unfortunately everything else was just kind of off. It wasn't as if the rest of the food tasted BAD, per se. Just that it all seemed slightly off.
The lo meins were both made what appeared to be vermicelli, not like the standard squared lo mein noodles you find elsewhere. Also they both seemed to be lacking the standard brownish sauce that lo mein is normally cooked/served with. They both tasted very reminiscent of chicken and broccoli instead of a nice earthy soy/sesame flavor. In addition, the house special lo mein seemed to be overwhelmingly just chicken with little beef or shrimp.
The egg rolls seemed to be filled with mainly cabbage and onion, with very little pork. And by mainly onion I mean like at least 50% of the interior was onion. I love onions, but my roommate was very offput by hers and could not finish it. Again, they didn't taste BAD, they were just very different than the standard cabbage/carrot filling we're used to. The vegetable fried rice was fairly standard, nothing wrong just kinda meh.
All in all, we were left underwhelmed, especially considering the price. I understand Uber Eats adds its cut but we paid almost $120 and were left very unimpressed. Will not be...

Read moreEDIT: I seriously have no idea what happened to this place. When they first opened the food was amazing and fresh, and I could tell that they put care into it. The last time I got food, will probably be the last time I spend money here. We got "vegetable fried rice" as part of our lunch special, and I am almost 100% sure it was Uncle Ben's Ready Rice, it had no egg or vegetables in it. Next, the crab ragoon was so damn chewy. The ragoon reminded me of something that was freezer burnt, and they fried it anyway. Not to mention, their online ordering system almost ALWAYS screws something up. This place used to by my #1 recommendation in York but has just turned into a low grade, average, Chinese restaurant, and that really bums me out.
Probably the nicest people in York--I'm always greeted with a warm smile! When they first opened, I didn't think that their portions were very big, but they seemed to have changed that. The food is fresh, and always tasty--I haven't one complaint now. They're good people, with good food, and a good atmosphere. Thanks for...
