Book Love Bar — Local services in Ypsilanti

We recently hosted my husband’s 50th surprise birthday party in the upstairs event space at Book Love Bar, and it was absolutely perfect! The space accommodated our group of about 35 comfortably, it’s cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating and beautiful moody lighting that set the tone for the evening.

Jessica, the owner, was fantastic to work with, she was friendly, responsive, and flexible. She made everything so easy, from booking to setup. We loved that we could bring in our own food and drinks, which made it feel personal and relaxed.

Love this space! They’re small and cozy while having an impressive selection of books, and online ordering is easy for anything not in stock. They also have a really open and accommodating upstairs event space where they run book clubs, and offer for event rental.

I also love the small business feel of seeing owners welcome everyone into the store and check in with folks for any help. They clearly care so deeply about their customers and take pride in their business. Ypsi needs...

Book Love Bar is a gorgeous bookstore with upscale cozy reading nooks. It feels like you’re in the private library of an old estate and the book selection is top notch. I love that it’s easy to schedule a book club meeting in their event room. They are great hosts and knowledgeable book nerds. We’ll be back for sure.
