La Molienda — Local services in Montevideo

Well for starters let's separate the "market" part from the "café" part. The market part is awesome, there's a variety of products that are of good quality. Whatever seed you're looking for, they have it. Whatever natural food product you're looking for, they probably have it. On the other hand, the café when I went wasn't good. The menu has things like hot sandwiches, sweet cakes and hot vegetable cakes, but they tell you to choose them from an already packed up portion sitting on a fridge as if you're picking it up from the market. They also didn't have half of the things we ordered, we ended up having to conform ourselves with the only things they had available. Ended up ordering a cappuccino, hot chocolate, a chocolate filled vegan croissant and a jam and cheese vegan croissant. I recently visited La Molienda in downtown Montevideo and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The café offers a great selection of healthy food options, including delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. The coffee was top-notch, and the avocado toast was a real treat. Hace varios años que dejé de comprar en el naranjo para pasarme a La molienda por cercanía; siempre tuve buena experiencia. Sin embargo, este último mes me han pasado muchas cosas negativas. En dicha sucursal de 18 de julio; compre 150 gr de polvo de jengibre que no tenía gusto - tuve que utilizar toda la cantidad para levemente sentir el sabor. También compre una canela que tenía sabor a condimento verde (la habrá mezclado otra persona, no lo sé) lo peor de eso fue la atención de la encargada cuando hicimos el reclamo el día de hoy.. fui con la intención de avisarles para que no les pasara con más nadie y pregunté si vendían ya cerrados para garantizar que el producto no se viera adulterado; a lo que me respondió de muy mala manera que esas cosas no pasaban y que oliera la canela.. totalmente fuera de lugar. Además que se pueden encontrar los mismos productos en otros lugares...
