Great atmosphere, down a lovely side alley (see photo). The building is tucked away and seems unassuming until you enter this surprisingly grand old building Tea offered upon arrival, even for those visiting with family or friends. The staff at reception are very knowledgeable and speak great English, for those who have limited Vietnamese. I was able to easily ask for specific areas to focus on or avoid, which the staff then passed on to your masseuse. There is a quick form to fill out to highlight problem areas and preferred pressure. You can even request a preferred gender of masseuse (not that it should matter) if you may be uncomfortable. They have an extensive list of treatment options of various styles from many cultures. From more basic foot/facials to 2+ hour packages. For the length and variety of massages the price is fair. I got 75 minute - mixed massage including hot stones, Thai and Swedish techniques for just over 550k. This was recommended to me as I could not decide between a few! At spas of a similar quality you may spend over double this. I went to another last week after a multi day bike ride and paid well over this amount for an arguable worse experience. There are lockers + keys downstairs for your belongings and there are many rooms. The bathrooms are clean and so are the towels/massage shorts, and beds. The rooms were nice a cool, dimly lit, and smelt great adding to relaxed environment. My masseuse was very happy to increase pressure, and focus on my shoulder. I recently had a tattoo and she avoided the area whilst still making the massage feel balanced. I came out of the experience very relaxed. On a side note, I accidentally left one of my bags at the spa for several hours before noticing and the staff on the phone/facebook quickly found it and said they would look after it until I could come and collect it. Be warned if you have weak legs you may need to request a lower floor as the building and treatment rooms seem to go up 6+ levels. I will be returning with my mother in the coming days, to try another style of massage 😊 You can book appointments in advance or walk in (and can usually be seen within a few minutes).

I entered a world of tranquility and healing, unlike any other massage center I've experienced. What sets this place apart is not only the serene ambiance but also the extraordinary talents of its massage therapists, who are blind and deaf. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness, setting the tone for what would be a truly exceptional massage experience. The attention to detail and the level of care provided by the therapists were unparalleled. Despite their sensory impairments, the therapists at [Name of the Place] possess an innate ability to intuitively understand the body and its needs. Each movement was precise, deliberate, and incredibly effective, targeting areas of tension with precision and skill. What struck me most about the massage was the therapist's ability to communicate through touch alone. Without the need for words, they were able to sense exactly where my muscles were tight and apply the perfect amount of pressure to release the tension, providing instant relief and relaxation. Moreover, the massage wasn't just about physical healing; it was also a deeply therapeutic and rejuvenating experience for the mind and soul. As the stresses of everyday life melted away under the skilled hands of the therapists, I felt a profound sense of peace and well-being wash over me. In addition to the exceptional quality of the massage, I was also impressed by behaviour and soft skills. Would visit this place again when u go to Vietnam !! Just loved it 😻

My wife and I visited Omamori for both a 90min Zen massage, and a half-day massage course.

The zen massage was superb, where the masseur was able to find all the right spots. Throughout the process, the masseur occasionally asked if the pressure was right, which helped in making the massage even better. Having visited multiple massage places on a relatively frequent basis (average once a month/ two months), and in multiple Asian countries, I have to say Omamori is high up in my rankings.

This half-day massage course is something I would recommend massage enthusiasts to try. Having a professional hands-on guide you to find the right points, to apply the right pressure, and also to teach you a curated sequence of head and shoulder massage, was a very valuable and value-for-money experience. They also provided a printout of the techniques and allowed us to video the demonstration, so we could go home and practise. 110% value for money.

The environment and staff were great too. The massage place was clean and air-conditioned - really comfortable. Most staff knew basic English to do their massage duties excellently, while some were more proficient. Throughout our time, they were also very friendly.

Lastly, Omamori is a social enterprise which seeks to empower the visually impaired. They built up a structured program, to teach the visually handicapped and provides them with a clean and professional workspace – it’s something that I really admire.

I would recommend Omamori to anyone who wants a great massage at an attractive price, or to any massage enthusiasts who want to learn how to do a...
