I should have read the review before I come. But this is the worst massage that I have been to.
Ok this will be the long review. But for those who doesn't like to read a long review. To sum up if you are looking for a good massage place. Please don't come here.
My mom and I went to this place. I did a 90 minutes head spa. And my mom got her 30 minute foot massage and 30 minutes head spa. The facility look old and unsanitzed. And the service is the regular hair wash nothing special about it. I mean I probably expected too much as I have been seeing people talk good things about washing hair in Vietnam.
The first lady that washed my hair was on her phone the whole time, and put the phone next to my ear and it vibrated. She used only one hand to massage me the whole time. The second lady came in and said something to her and now do the massage instead of her.The lady asked my if I want to wash my face and I agreed on that. She did wash my face but the water goes into my ear and nose and she tried to rip my eyelash extension apart. And the whole time she pushed my neck back really hard. It was the longest 90 minute massage sesh that I have been to.
When she finished, she explicitly ask for the tip. This is the first time in my life that I experience this. I mean I have been to massage places in Thailand, the US, China. No one ever ask me this. I usually give them voluntary when they serve me tea or snack afterward. I have told her that I don't have money on me because I didnt bring my wallet with me. All the money is with my mom. I went down and see my mom. She said to me her massage lady asked for the tip and when she gave her the tip. The lady told her that these money is too little.
Oh come on. Are you serious??? The tip should not be forced. If you want a certain amount of tips why don't you charge in percent and add on to the price. I was so mad so I starter walking out these staff ( 5 people at the lobby) were talking to each other in vietnamese and start staring at us. We paid out service. But they made us feel really bad on the thing that is not our faults.
I ended my trip in Vietnam with the worst feeling ever. And for the tourist, if you don't want to feel like us, please don't come. I still believe that there are many better massage place in hanoi. Don't get your mood ruin like us.
Dear LaSpa owner, As businesses owner myself I feel really bad for you. You should have pay more attention into the comments. If you don't fix it, no future customers will go to you. You already have a great location next to pho 10. You better improve your people before...
Read moreThere were so many things that went wrong with this place. Firstly, there were so many additional charges, such as an extra 100k VND for a private room, which we did not have anyway, cos we did the hair wash and head, shoulder, face massage on the ground floor with only a curtain separating us from other patrons, and 10% tax.
Secondly, during the service, the masseuse moved my head from left to right to wash off shampoo or facial products, but she kept aiming the shower head right into my ears and my nostrils. I instinctively moved so that the water wouldn't get in, but she didn't even seem to notice despite me doing this 4-5 times.
During the service, there was also the use of hot stones which i was unaware of. The masseuse did not say a single word during the service and did not warn me or at least say that she's going to be using hot stones on me. It was a shock to my skin when hot stones were suddenly pressed onto my neck and my shoulders. It was very unpleasant.
When the service was over, they kept hassling us for tips even though we had already given it to them.
One of the worst parts for me was that after my service had ended, the two masseuses just stood there and watched me change back to my attire. Why? I don't understand this at all, cos it's common decency for people to turn away, let alone a masseuse, when someone is changing to give them privacy. I felt so uncomfortable and faced the wall to change, but they were still standing behind me and not looking away.
0/10, do not...
Read moreNot recommended at all if you’re looking for shampoo shops. The one star is for the guy at the front desk. He’s lovely and friendly. That’s why we entered the store, but the rest was awful. We tried nourishing shampoo. There were three of us and two had the worst shampoo experience ever. First of all, no basket for you to leave your personal belongings, so we can only put everything on the floor. I don’t know why, but the fan was on during the whole session. When your head, face, shoulder are all wet in a room with AC, the wind keeps blowing. It’s very cold and uncomfortable. We didn’t know if it’s normal, so we didn’t ask for turning it off. Then the masseuse used her sharp and pointed nails to scratch my head all the time and I was having a facial mask so that I couldn’t talk to her about it. Is she Wolverine ??? She also pulled my hair while drying. Besides, our hair was still wet when they told us the session was finished not to mention the hair of course was a mess. EVEN SO, we still gave them tips, but they asked for additional money like other reviews mentioned! We refused to give more then their attitude got worse!? Tip is not compulsory in Vietnam especially if you didn’t treat your job seriously!! I’d rather tip the guy at the front desk! He deserves more tips! It was a very disappointed and the worst experience...
