I've been going to this park for 12 years now and I really enjoy being here even as an adult because there is SO much more than just a play structure. Nice lush grass, picnic tables, a couple covered gazebos, parking and baseball field right next to a great spot on the river. Play ball with friends, fetch with your canine, have a picnic, relax and read along the river or just sit and think. I get a DB cinnamon spice tea in fall and find a nice log touching the water to sit on and just watch the water. KIDS: of course, kids love the new play structure and after going today it looks like they are almost finished with the new water park addition too (water squirts out of the ground and the kids run through type of water park). BEWARE: there are extremely questionable characters in the park at most hours. A woman was recently sitting next to this park asking little ones to come with her and that she was a family member (when she was absolutely not) so keep a very close eye on your kids. GEESE: there are a lot of geese here that will beg for food. Please do not feed them bread. It will actually cause a condition called "angel wing" in young geese that eat it often where the wing bones grow outward making it impossible for them to fly. Do research on things they would normally eat and bring that instead :) BATHROOMS: they do have bathrooms. Whether they are cleanish or not depends on your luck that day. BOATS: there is a boat ramp but watch how far you back up carefully because it usually barely if at all goes low enough to be in the water and then there is an abrupt 2 foot drop. Getting a truck out of that situation would be very difficult. Happy lounging. P.S. sometimes BINGO is hosted in the big gazebo! This is also the location for the famous Boatnik(sp?) carnival in Summer.

The park is a magical place especially when you can find a nice spot not occupied. I take my 2 sons there and find the parents of other children for the most part are very pleasant. I can't help by join in on my boys fun and I try not to be a helicopter parent but I am always worried about the what-ifs. To sum it up I love Grants Pass I love the people and i love my family members who reside here and Riverside Park is always the image of great happiness where even if i do worry about boys it is so bad as we do not enjoy ourselves. My sons still cry when it's time to go and I know that it is the fun they had that they never wanted it to end. Even had some beautiful women swing by me as I pushed my son. They were full of smiles and so was i

Great place to go either alone, with friends, or with children. The playground is pretty large, with a lot of features, such as slides, climbing things, a spinny thing, a Jeep thing, swings, and so on. There are quite a few tables and benches if you want to just chill, and there is also a water playground that they put in about a year (more or less) ago. The river is very close to the playground, which is a nice sight to look at. There's also a big field for playing frisbee or fetch with your dog. You might also come across a public event here. Probably my favorite park in Grants Pass.
I wrote this review as an excuse to post a picture.

Riverside park is a wonderful get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a little while. It is a great place to walk your dog. Also to let the youngins play. They have an awesome water pad for kids in the summer time which is exactly what is needed on a hot day. If you haven't been here...... then go and see it for yourself. Take your dog or your children. I forgot to say they have a great playground for the youngins as well. Happy adventures to you and yours. 🙏🏻❤️🕊️✨👣🧚🏻🌻🌺🌹🏵️🪹🍀🌿🍄

This park has had its ups and downs. Years ago it was an amazing place to go and relax. A few years ago the homeless moved in and I would not recommend going at that time. I stopped by again today to walk my dog and it seems the homeless population has been significantly reduced and there were people playing. This comes at the cost of most of the restrooms and recreational areas being closed. At least I can stop here without worrying about needles or drugs anymore

Reinhart Volunteer Park/Riverside West Allsports Park is an outstanding source for a family outing. Once, long ago, nothing but a large feild of blackberries and trash (and three mismanaged ponds)... it was transformed into a beautiful outdoor complex including: 1 baseball stadium and several baseball fields, 2 soccer feilds, a small, clean, safe playground, several covered bbq/picnic areas, a great series of horseshoe pits, several tennis and basketball courts, 1 (now connected) large well maintained and stocked trout fishing pond with several small "docks" to fish off and one large lowered pavilion area (with low fence around waterline) great for those in wheelchairs or for smaller children to fish or feed ducks/geese, several wooded walking paths around the pond including a central footbridge were one may catch a glimpse of the flora and fauna of the pond (turtles are fun to watch as they sun bathe on fallen logs/branches left there for just such), several functional normally clean public restrooms... and in my opinion... the piece de resistance:
A long easy grade paved walking path that connects Reinhardt starting from the Greenwood Dog Park (at the end of Greenwood Ave) all the way down along and across the scenic Rogue River via a beautiful spand footbridge to Tussing Park on the other side opposite Reinhardt... or... take the "Y" as you pass under the above mentioned bridge to continue around the wooded area and along the backside of the baseball stadium and around a low shallow fly fishing pond back toward the main entrance located at the end of Lincoln Rd!
Wow! That's a lot... and I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting at the moment! Great Park! GP has a winner here! The only thing missing that I would like to see added... is a disc golf course!

I grew up going to this park every day for more than 4 years. It is absolutely stunning. There is a walking bridge that goes along the Rogue river, great little swim area, great fishing, two big ponds, it connects the 26 side of town to the 27 side. These days there are Gates on the bridge that are closed for questionable activity during the night. Used to be a very safe park, now it's a little more sketchy. Baseball fields, soccer fields, walking trails, geese, squirrel, dog park, duck, huge fields of grass. People are stingier with the dog leash rule these days. Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent and have fun doing pretty much anything. :)

This little gem of a park it’s not so little. I love the fact that there are these little outlets for different portions of the park which includes a baseball field volleyball court and even a really open space to hold events.
The cherry on the top for me is that it connects directly to the other side of the river by Way of a foot walking bridge. If you meander another thousand feet across the bridge it connects to quaint park. What a special treat.

This park is the best in Grants Pass. It has everything you could want in a 5 star park. Tons of trails, basketball, volleyball, baseball, artificial turff soccer field. Riverside hiking trails. A really cool bride over the Rogue River. The best place to play Pokemon GO as well. Lots of covered and uncovered places for a picnic and BBQ pits. Plenty of handicap parking also. BEST PARK IN GRANTS PASS!

This is a great little park to take the kids, especially if they want to see turtles. I lost track of how many turtles we saw. I wish I had my good camera for better pictures. We walked the bridge over the Rogue River. That was a beautiful view. We played at the playground and tried fishing. Didn't see anyone actually catch a fish but my son did land a big bullfrog that ate his bait.

This is one of my favorite disc golf courses in Oregon. The local club is doing amazing job keeping the course in great shape. Most holes have multiple pin locations and some can be very challenging. I really enjoy the design of the course. I first played here all the way back in 2008. I don’t get to play here as much anymore but when I’m around I’ll stop by. It costs $5 park if you don’t have a pass. There’s other people walking the park but you don’t run into them much. This is a very clean and well kept park.
They do have clean restrooms near the parking lot.

Beautiful and quiet, love the walking trails. Wildflowers, butterflies, birds and lots of trees. You can take one trail down to little river spot. there Is a kid playground, two outdoor covered seating with restrooms and cooking area and a small pond you can sit on Bridge and watch birds and ducks. Also a frisbee golf field that goes back a good ways just as you enter park. 5$ vehicle fee required.

This place is so beautiful! If you are in the area it is worth the visit. They have Disc Golf here, and BBQ pits. There is a 5 dollar car fee. When we went the river was high. Does have restroom's, and a beautiful bridge and fountain to cross over. Nice walkways so you don't get muddy when you take a stroll. Will make sure to come back.

Its a Big park good for families parties get together's etcetera great for getting some exercise there's more than one different trails to walk along and a 18 hole frisbee golf course that is in my opinion the best in the area out of the few I know of. All in all if you haven't been there you should check it out.
