The breakfast is usually OK but there has been two times my orders were wrong and this time the fish for the fish and chips was raw and now I have felt sick for the rest of the day I would keep an eye out potentially maybe not go. It has been about 36 hours since I ate that raw fish I am still sick and I have not been able to stay away from the toilet I highly recommend anybody that is trying to eat at this restaurant be careful they need to upgrade the restaurant all the way around they need to remodel have higher quality food and probably some kind a uniforms or better dressed waitresses And probably need to retrain the chefs fish and chips is probably one of the easiest meals to cook he is a chef he should’ve been able to tell if the fish was done or not that’s why they make thermostats just for checking meat and fish and I think that the owner posts comments and that’s about it maybe you should think about putting effort into your restaurant instead of the website anyways I wish the best of luck to the restaurant anybody who eats their good luck community of awesome people you know what decision to make don’t let this happen anymore !!! You would think that the owner would’ve offered something free or to help out with my sickness but instead they just said they wish I come back and they have another chance to serve me but that doesn’t fix the problem nobody should get sick like this for my restaurant if I’m sick for another 5 to 6 hours I’m going to the emergency room I’ve never had this happen in my own house let alone a restaurant I cannot believe that this is how they make their money People go to restaurants to save time now that I am sick it is cost me two...
Read moreI try to when possible to be positive and encouraging with my reviews but at times as much as I don't like too, have to be open and honest. My first experience at the Powderhorn cafe was a less than enjoyable experience. I visited on recommendation of several friends. I did arrive at the tail end of the business day and that may have played a part in less than satisfactory food. The service was good, staff gracious being towards closing time. I did not review that visit because I believe in giving people, places a second chance. So today 02/22/18 Grants Pass had snow, schools were closed for the day! Decided to take the family to breakfast. Granted, again there were some mitigating factors such as , cold snowy weather which resulted in an increase of diners for a Thursday I am sure. That being said, staff was again gracious and friendly but that does not change the the fact that the food took an extended amount of time to be delivered, once delivered it was cold and in my opinion subpar. I can not give a positive rating or review based on two visits and both being dissapointments. I did give provide three stars because the staff is always smiling and gracious under the circumstances but other than that, I will remain neutral and say try at...
Read moreThe people were nice and full of smiles but as for the service it was lacking. However I'd rather have smiles and nice people than perfect service. The atmosphere was lacking for me. I can respect old school decor for cafes and diners but to me it looked outdated and lazy rather than keeping a theme. The food was the absolute worst. Omg. I got the veggie omelet with hash browns and my man got biscuits and gravy with sausage and hash browns. My omelet was runny and not even cooked all the way. My hash browns were burnt and oozing so much grease. I thought maybe my man's food would be better so I cut off a bite of his sausage and had to spit It into my napkin immediately. It tasted like dish soap so bad! My man looked at me and then took a bite and did same thing. The waitress asked what happened and I told her and we convinced her to try it and when she finally did she also had to spit it out. As she went to figure out why I asked my man if his biscuits and gravy were editable and he said no not at all. So we paid the bill and went home and I cooked...
