Crumbl — Restaurant in Glendora

Don’t get me wrong, these cookies are delicious. Last week I did an online order and twice specified in writing that this order must be delivered anonymously. The order was delivered to the recipient and she asked to the sender was and they told her they did not have that information… Sounds great right? Well it seems the recipient called Crumbl cookies and ask them who sent the order and they gave her my personal phone number, needless to say she knew exactly who sent them… There is a very good reason that I sent the cookies anonymously! I called Crumbl cookies, spoke to the manager, she was completely rude and unprofessional, offered no apology and said, “ sounds like a family problem to me!” I asked her for the owners number because she did not see anything wrong with giving out my phone number two the recipient. She promptly hung up on me and when I called back to get the number she did not answer nor did she answer to other calls and it’s a business line. At no time was I using any type of swearword or attacking in anyway. I just let her know that it is never OK to give out a clients phone number… that person could have been anybody. Please don’t ever do an anonymous order as these people feel it’s OK to give out your personal number if...

Ok. We had high hopes in regards to the cookies here. After the ads and social media posts we decided to come here on opening day.

There was a long line which hyped it up a bit and got us excited to give it a try. The people in line were nice, but that’s pretty much where the experience ends.

We purchased the 12 cookie $36.00 box just so we could try most of their assortment. Unfortunately, the social media hype did not live up to expectations. The chocolate chip cookie was tasty but nothing to rave about. The orange cream cookie taste like a orange cream ice cream bar minus the flavor you’d hope to expect. The buckeye brownie was very rich, but oddly had us wanting a glass of water to chase it down with as it was very dry. The honeybun was also extremely dry. The confetti cookie was about as good as the ones you get at your local grocery store. The classic sugar cookie was a punch to the face with overwhelming sugar.

I hope that in this soft opening they are able to work on the quality of product that they are putting out, but unfortunately we just don’t seem to have any reason to go back let alone spend 36.00 on a box...

Horrible service. I came in to pick up an order from a previous day because they were out of the cake I wanted. I get to the counter and waited 15 minutes before I was greeted. Once someone came up to me, she crossed my name off a list of order problems and tried to give me one cake but I was waiting on a whole box. She said someone is checking on my order in the back, waited 25 more minutes to find out no one was checking on my order. Finally someone came up to me and found my order from yesterday to make for me today. She posted it but my cookies weren't being made for another 30 minutes. A girl behind me who came in for a previous order as well got her cookies before me as well. I finally asked when they were going to make them and neither worker looked at me or said anything to me so I told them I was waiting for AN HOUR and suddenly they has my box ready right away. I font even want my cookies anymore. I had a baby waiting for me at home, if I knew it would be an hour, I would've come back another day. I won't be coming back to this location.
