Humus Restó Bar — Restaurant in El Calafate

I had terrible experience today! Waited 30 minutes at lobby even sign says they supposed to open 30 minutes ago . But got kicked out sent to another restaurant, however another restaurant only open until 7pm.

Even the sign says open at 5pm and the waitress also told us the night before they open tomorrow at 5pm, we finished cafe quickly just so we can came here 5pm to order drinks and cold meat to start with. But at 5.05pm the restaurant was still closed and blocked by some object, so we asked lobby receptionist if still open at 5pm and what happening now ? He said " yes 5pm, please just sit there and wait!" So we just quietly sit at lobby until 5.20pm, restaurant finally opened, so we sit in the corner waited to be served . However 10 minutes later someone finally came and told us we have to leave because they open at 6pm tonight, even the sign in front of the hotel says 5pm,.I asked cant we just sit here to wait for 6pm open? He said no, we have to leave and told us we can move to another hotel restaurant and come back at 6pm , what? Are you serious? We are here for afternoon snack drinks and dinner,.why we have to move to another restaurant opposite street and come back half hour later? Forget to mention the charge table fees 180pesos per person I was pretty upset, said we are ok to wait at pool area, can we stay please? Just Dont want to move around. He said no! And tonight they are full no table for me. So why cant you tell me earlier? Waited 40 minutes.

So we went to another their hotel restaurant opposite street at 5.40pm lobby restaurant said the kitchen closed at 6.30pm but we are allow to stay until 7pm after 7pm we can move to the restaurant we came from!!!!! What? I cant believe my ear!!!! We felt like football kicked around by these 2 restaurants. Was very upset!!! We have some work to do at 7pm, the last thing I want to do is leave at 7pm. Just want to spend money sit , drink.and eat. enjoy my time here but seems like impossible!

El ambiente es muy lindo, la atención y predisposición son excelentes como siempre. Los precios, regular. La comida es muy rica sólo hay que preguntar bien con anticipación cómo será la presentación o cantidades... Ejemplo: para comer pastas, rabas, ensaladas está muy bien (aún no he probado la totalidad de la carta), pero en el caso de las entradas, son porciones demasiado pequeñas. La última vez que fui con amigos, pedí "Provoleta, Mix de Verdes, Cherrys y Pesto de Rúcula". El "mix de verdes" era sólo 1 hoja pequeña de lechuga y 3 fibritas de repollo colorado. "Cherrys", en realidad fue sólo ½ cherry. La provoleta estaba muy rica.

2 de mis amigos pidieron una "Tabla de carnes Patagónicas Ahumadas /Quesos para 2 Personas"... En realidad era para 1 (en éste caso sí puedo decir que fue caro).

A pesar de la mala experiencia con la comida de la última vez, igualmente volveré. Sólo hay que tener en cuenta ése detalle.

El ambiente, la atención y el cantante de los viernes hacen que sea un lugar agradable para...

Una pena, me atendieron re mal. Me fui de malhumor.

Me cobraron 100 pesos de cubierto. En la mesa no había servilletas y tuve que pedir que me traigan una panera.

La excusa que me puso del pan fue que lo tenían en el horno. (Me lo llevaron a la mesa después de comer la entrada)

Las servilletas que me trajeron era de papel las mas simples de todas, me las trajeron arriba de un plato.

Demoraron unos 35 minutos para traer la entrada. (Unas rabas y una sopa)

Pedimos queso para la sopa. Nunca llego.

El plato principal estaba muy rico pero cuando le pedimos sal nos trajo 3 sobrecitos de sal. (Porque se habian quedado sin).

La comida esta a la altura de lo que cobran. El servicio nefasto. Para hacer el pedido tuve que levantarme de la mesa. Estuve unos 15 min intentando que vengan a...
