Absolute gem of a place. The town has lost power and myself and my wife were strolling around looking for somewhere open. We followed the sound of a small generator and were greeted by a glow of some outdoor lights. We went in and it's not too busy. Our server was very attentive, presenting us with menus in English or Spanish. We ordered, Calafate milkshake for me and a latte for my wife, then the savory chicken and mushrooms waffles. We waited a little while the server did everything, I've not seen anything like it she did it all, and then the generator dies... She rolls up her sleeves tinkers with it and we are up and running. Food comes and it's fantastic, presented beautifully, and tastes phenomenal. Well this calls for a sweet treat so we order the Calafate ice cream waffle with a berry sauce. Holy cow it was luxurious, again plated beautifully, tasted soooo good. If you are here, you will not regret a visit. Again excellent work...
Read moreDefinitely was not expecting this gem in El Calafate of all places. It's a smaller place just off the main road and they serve both savory and sweet waffle meals. Since I went for dinner, I had the smoked bacon and fried egg waffle and it was perfect. Along side it, I had a strawberry smoothie which was also very good. I also tried an alphajor and it was alright. I will definitely be coming back to try the sweet waffle dishes.

I ordered the dolce de leche Kit Kat waffle and the fruits and berries waffle and the fresh orange juice.
The dolce de leche tested great but a little too sweet after a few bites. I’m a big fan of the dolce de leche flavor overall. I rate it an 8.7/10.
The fruits and berries waffle had a berry jam that was amazing. Not too sweet and tasted great! I rate this an 8.8/10
Orange juice (with pulp) was also sweet and tart. 8/10
