We wanted to eat Italian food while in El Chaten, a few come highly recommended, but we missed Maffia booking (not their fault, but we were late 19 minutes and they told us the had given out the table as it was more than 15min). We decided to try this cute looking Diadema Resto. Initially we are a bit skeptical because it only has 22 number of reviews, but we went ahead anyway. Oh man, did we made a better choice!! The seafood pasta is scrumptious , I could taste the authentic home-made pasta and it is cooked my favourite style: al dente :) So are the rest of the dishes. Lovely ambience and ooh were we glad. My wife was pleased.. and she was extremely particular about Italian food. We had a WONDERFUL Christmas dinner :) Service is warm and so pleasant! I am so glad not many people know about this place yet haha… and we get our pick of table (not the little table at the tight little corner). I am sure in months time, more people will know about this. Merry...
Read moreEvery day of our stay we visited all the restaurants around with legendary Argentine steaks. Unfortunately, this one turned out to be the worst disappointment. Moreover, I personally got food poisoning for the next few days, so I will never go back to this place and I will never recommend it to anyone. The atmosphere of the restaurant was deceptively cozy. The service was great, no negativity towards the staff. This is what deserves two stars in the rating. But, unfortunately, the steaks were disappointing and definitely not legendary Argentine (the evening was ruined). For the first time in my life, I did not finish the steak. We were deceived by high ratings...

My wife got the mushroom risotto, and was thoroughly impressed. “Amazing, the best mushroom dish I’ve ever had and possibly the best risotto I’ve had. Various flavors, various textures, distinct, and integrated”.
Wine pairing (2014 DV Catena Malbec) was a great match for both dishes, and brought out different aspects in the...
