This is a really nice restaurant. I was there on my own and ordered a 1 person portion of the lamb stew with the green onions. ( usually they serve this for 2 people but they have a discount for 1 person) the lamb was falling apart from the bone, very jucy and flavor full. The portions are very generous and even the one person portion could have fed two people. Keep in mind that some of the stews are cream based, so the meal itself is on the heavy side. The price is very reasonable and the service is really nice. Some of the staff speaks English and if you have any questions just ask. One thing to improve would be the menu to be translated in English. Will come back to try the fish stew. Thanks for a wonderful meal

Friendly, traditional, quirky. We were recommended this place by the check-in girl at Ezieza Airport (Buenos Aires) and couldn't get in the first night so booked to come back. Their signature is the sharing dishes (discos) which are placed in sizzling black pans between two or more of you...the drawback with this being that you have to have the same dish - so not great if you don't like the same thing! There is no wine list. Instead you're taken to a small room and invited to choose a bottle from the shelf. It was lively and buzzing and the service was very good. Not our best meal in El Calafate, but the food was good and wholesome - definitely worth a visit.

For tourist who don't know how to eat meat (be aware from this place). From the beginning the treatment of the waitress was really bad and impolite (here we should've went to other place, but unfortunatelly we decided to eat here). We asked for a lamb and we received cow meat super dry ( even when theorically it was cooked for more than 3/4 hours with liquid ). When we decided to ask to the waitress about our concern, instead of having a polite response, explanation or whatever, we receive the worst treatment possible from her and from the kitchen guy (I won't call it chef in order to not insult the real chefs). To end if you decide to go to eat to this place, please avoid the bathroom, a disco bathroom for drunk people at 4 am looks cleaner than this one.

We ordered the King Crab for 2 people, the waiter said it’s very well served and has a lot of meat. When it arrived it had literally 1 super small leg of crab . We paid 90,000 to eat a potato salad soup, not King Crab for 2 people. We tried to speak with the owner and the waiter but they wouldn’t hear us and made us pay that scam. Our friend ordered a steak with natural potatoes and was decent. 44,000 pesos for a salad with a steak still very expensive. We ate the same plate for 15,000-20,000 in other places. Avoid this place at all cost. Not safe for celiacs / gluten free / sin gluten. They don’t take care of the cross contamination - even though they claim they do.

We took the king crag parmesan casserole for two. The portion is enormous but the price is also outrageous at 95 000 ARS. I guess it is what to expect with a tourist spot with a view. Nothing bad to say about the meal. You get to choose and pick and bring back your own bottle of whine from a fridge next to the counter? First time ever seeing that. Didn't mind it but would have appreciated recommendations for pairing from the server. Ended with a wine too sweet. The view and ambiance are great.

Osso Bucco is supposed to be so tender you can eat it with a spoon. The one here you can hardly cut with a sharp steak knife. Seriously has the view not been amazing and the wine so cheap it would have given it one star. Maybe this place had good food once upon a time but the beef and lamb were both overcooked and tuff we couldn't even finish it. We are less than half and left hungry after spending 70USD. Got home and realized we reaked of the restaurant smells. Ugh. Would not recommend.
