Dragon Garden, Yerevan
The interior is stunning, the menu looks great, and the atmosphere is truly impressive — but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
We were seated in the middle of the corridor, where people constantly walked by, and the waiters completely ignored us. Even though the main hall was empty, they didn’t bother to seat us more comfortably. They brought only one menu for the two of us and didn’t even acknowledge me. I honestly don’t understand this attitude — and it’s something I’ve noticed happens quite often in Yerevan. You come as a couple — they give one menu to the man. You come as three — they bring two. It would make sense if the restaurant were packed, but the hall was empty, and there were plenty of menus stacked at the counter.
Out of principle, I didn’t order anything — since they didn’t even consider me a guest worthy of a menu. And honestly, that was for the best. My boyfriend’s order was terrible. The ramen smelled awful and tasted even worse — the noodles were of very poor quality. As for the maki rolls, the photos speak for themselves. They weren’t even the same size, the taste was terrible, and they were sticky and unpleasant to chew. The fish had an unnatural shine, as if it had been coated in something strange. The wasabi wasn’t real either.
The service was slow and indifferent. Overall, I do not recommend this place and will never return. Respect yourself and your money — there are far better...
Read more1 Star (If I could give 0, I would) Dragon Garden – A Complete Disaster One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service at Dragon Garden was absolutely pathetic. The staff had a terrible attitude — slow, uninterested, and borderline rude. The restaurant had no working AC, and when we asked about it, the server casually said he thinks it's fine — even though it was clearly hot and stuffy inside. Later, it was confirmed that the AC wasn’t working at all. Totally unprofessional. As for the food — completely below average. The fried rice was overloaded with salt, making it nearly inedible. We ordered chicken strips and were surprised to receive them with no dip or sauce. When we asked, the server said we could have one ketchup or mayonnaise. Seriously? And to top it off, we were charged for the dip! Absolutely ridiculous. The hygiene was horrifying — dirty floors, spilled cake left unattended, and stained napkins on the table. It looked like nobody had cleaned the place properly in days. I rarely leave bad reviews, but Dragon Garden truly earned this one. Avoid this place at all costs — unless you're in the mood for bad service, worse food, and a...
Read moreToday was my birthday, and I decided to celebrate it at Dragen Garden. We had reserved a table in advance, but unfortunately, the table was located right next to the doors leading to the yard. Considering the weather, it was extremely cold there. Since there were no other available seats, we had to leave.
I would like to address the management of Dragen Garden — it’s simply unacceptable to place guests at that table when the doors are being opened and closed. Either move the table or find another solution.
I’ve been a regular customer since the restaurant’s opening, but I’m very disappointed with this kind of attitude...
