SushiMall — Restaurant in Yerevan

Unfortunately, this place was a disappointing dining option on our first night in Yerevan. The waiters and staff were okay, however they could not make up for the disappointing food.

We tried many different options. The drinks were ok. The passion fruit ice tea had a very nice flavor and was pretty good. The banana milkshake was essential a banana dropped into a jug of milk.

The chicken ramen was under-flavored and had no salt. The broth that was supposed to be flavorful tasted like vegetable juice. The noodles were the same as store bought thin spaghetti noodles and not ramen noodles.

The chicken noodles had a burnt taste, and the chicken also tasted off. Same can be said for chicken rice, that had a burn flavor and almost no chicken in it.

The kimchi soup was okay but it had very little noodles inside it. I would give it a 5/10. Not terrible but definitely far from great.

Lastly, we ordered a sushi set and even tho many of us are crazy sushi lovers, we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish it. Sushi had no flavor, they skimped on salmon.

Overall, I would not recommend this place. I was debating whether to give this place a two stars or one based on the staff, but the food was really that...

The place and service is great! I want to say thank you to all personal. Host, everyone were very kind, nice. Thank you guys!! We enjoyed our night. Now food..! My honest review and opinion. The food wasn’t as good as I expected and it was way pricey. We liked sushi set, fried chicken wings. We disliked beef / black mushrooms. We didn’t know that black mushrooms are sea mushrooms which changed the test of beef, also it didn’t say that the beef in the sauce. Sauce was I guess( I might be wrong) teriyaki and it was too much! We couldn’t feel beef test… the other dish was a salad with кролик 🐇 ( rabbit??) / black mushrooms..because of mushrooms we couldn’t eat the salad…( in the menu it didn’t say that mushrooms are sea mushrooms)The food wasn’t that delicious ( expect sushi 🍣)…. etc. Me personally didn’t like sake. I had an amazing time at this restaurant solo dining! The sushi is so fresh and rather large which isn't always common in Armenia! Asian culture has really expanded in our region and I am super happy about this. The interior design was pleasant and artistic, waitresses were super responsive and I liked that there was a huge variety of foods to choose from.
