Asian Flavour House — Restaurant in Adelaide

OK, so myself and my husband had a bad experience with preety useless service last year, but last night decided everyone deserves a second chance. Wow... boy were we wrong. Sat at a table, given the menues, asked for water. About five mins later we ordered. Wine, mains, rice with mains and ordered water again. 10 minutes later wine arrives, asked for water again. Finally get the water, it was a pretty warm evening. A half an hour later one of the mains arrive, no cutlery and staff went awol. Hubby found forks on a bench but know knives, started eating the duck which is yummy actually with our fingers. Second main arrives five mins later. Asked her for knifes, took her 5 minutes to locate. Then 10 minutes passed and still no rice!!! I was annoyed by this as I like rice with my mains. So I went to the bar and asked what about the rice. It came 5 mins later, and as id almost finished the mains I only ate a little of it. The staff were polite, but pretty useless. Its deja vu from our first visit. And it will be our last visit. There are so many better options around Glenelg where we live. Its such a shame as the location and waterfront view is stunning and the food was pretty good. Compliments to the chief but...

Whole Peking x 2 amazing 5🌟 although didn’t get the whole ducks but instead sliced perhaps half a duck Bit disappointed as was advertised as a whole In saying that I couldn’t have possibly eaten more probably they just need to reword this in their adds was amazing major highlight

Pork belly 5⭐️ Nothing like any pork belly I’ve had previously not sweet or crispy but melt in your mouth and beautiful

We’re supposed to also get boiled rice with the deal it never came but we didn’t complain as we had more than we could eat but this may bother some

Adelaide you are killing me!! Asian Flavour House has just overtaken my all time favourite Chinese cuisine. This place serves all Asian cuisines including Chinese, Japanese and Thai. I had crunchy beef, chili prawns, salt & pepper squid, chicken skewers and vegetarian fried rice with egg. Every single dish was fresh, cooked to perfection and amazing flavour. This will be a place for me to visit on every trip to Adelaide!! Who ever has not yet experienced this restaurant, i urge you to do so. I can guarentee it will not be your last. Many compliments to the chef i say. I hope they continue to be supported by patrons so that rare places like this...
