Sadly, my first visit here was not great, but since I only spent $14 I thought maybe it was just because of the price that the food felt plain, boring, and the portion for the “Tokyo Ramen” was too small. Today I decided to give it a second chance and it was even worse. I ordered a more expensive option, which tasted good in the broth, but the dish itself was disappointing: just noodles, an egg (which I had to pay extra for), and four tiny pieces of pork — I’m 100% sure it was less than 20 g, mostly fat rather than meat. On top of that, they use a very strong chemical to clean the tables. The smell was overwhelming and, in my opinion, very inappropriate for a restaurant — cleaning products should be gentle, not something that overpowers the aroma of the food. I would not recommend this place, especially being in the CBD where you can easily find much better and more affordable options.

What a great one stop shop for all your lunch needs! Has a diverse range in menu items at a very affordable price. The vibe is very back street Japanese and the business is family owned! The staff were lovely and very friendly. Started lunch with the Kitsune (hot sweet tare sauce), beautifully presented and ate amazingly, the udon was delightful. Next was the pork katsu curry and pork katsu ramen, both were delicious. The pork katsu was super crunchy and fresh, the curry had a deep flavour with a hint of spice. My only criticism is my noodles were slightly over cooked. (The photo of the curry was taken after I’d started eating) Great vibe! Great lunch stop!

Perfect summer dish, refreshing Hiyashi Chuuka (cold noodle) with sesame dressings. Don't let the name 'cold noodle' hinder you because the dish will be much closely resemble salad or poke bowl, bursting with flavour and texture from the colourful veggies such as tomato, sprouts, julienned cucumber, salad greens, wakame (a type of seaweed) and bamboo shoot, as well as proteins, such as tender chashu (braised pork belly), imitation crabs, narutomaki (fish cake) and eggs, topped with zesty and full-of-umami sesame dressings. For less than $13, I would say this dish certainly won one of the top spot for an affordable, healthy yet hearty summer dish.
