I was on my lunch break from work and wanted to grab a quick bite from work and stumbled upon this small shop and went to order a pork banh mi, I walked up to the counter and disinterested person behind the register asked what I wanted.

I said “can I please get a roast pork banh mi” He then snickered, rolled his eyes and laughed at me under his breath, I was standing directly in front of him and there was no other interactions going on at the time, which made it very clear that these gestures were aimed at myself.

I was taken aback, he then asked “is that all?”, I told him don’t worry about it and walked away. I was furious, customer service is key to a small business and I would honestly say that is the worst service I have ever received

I am a regular customer at Jarn Leva and have always appreciated the quality of your food. However, my recent visit was very disappointing due to the unprofessional conduct of one of your staff members. When I politely requested that my pho noodles be served separately and that the meatballs be replaced with tendons, the staff member (a slim man wearing glasses) responded with a smirk and said, “I don’t know if I can do that,” without making any effort to check with the kitchen. This response and demeanor were rude and unprofessional. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, as should every patron. The customer service is TERRIBLE. They took the wrong order and I received a horrible tasting chicken pho instead of a beef pho. I went up to them three times asking them for a beef replacement for my pho (because a chicken pho came out instead of the beef pho that I ordered). And they would not do it. The chicken pho was disgusting and they dunked it in beef broth which did not complement the chicken taste. I would never go there again. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They gaslighted me when I asked them why I didn't get my order, saying that i said that i'd order chicken when I never uttered that word once.
