I recently visited La Moka and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The funky fit out and venue really set the tone for a unique and enjoyable dining experience. And if you're lucky enough to find it, the secret hidey spot upstairs is a real treat.
But what really stood out to me was the friendly staff and great coffee. The baristas are highly skilled and knowledgeable, and they take the time to make each cup of coffee to perfection. Whether you're in the mood for a classic latte or something a bit more adventurous, they've got you covered.
In addition to the great coffee, La Moka also offers a delicious menu of breakfast and lunch options. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory, there's something for everyone. And the portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave feeling hungry.
The atmosphere at La Moka is also fantastic. The decor is funky and fun, with plenty of seating options to choose from. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to read a book or a spot to catch up with friends, there's a space for everyone.
Overall, I highly recommend La Moka to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable dining experience. The friendly staff, great coffee, and delicious food all combine to make for an unforgettable visit. Make sure to check out the secret hidey spot upstairs - it's definitely...
Read moreLast night my partner and I went to this place for a drink. The shop is very nice and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was busy but we didn't wait too long before order. We ordered two drinks (mulled wine and hot Toddy), then we start waiting. After a good 20 minutes we asked to one of the guys if the drink were on the way or not, he says yes, so we start waiting again. After another 15 minutes of wait (during this time, people who ordered way after us were already drinking, and the two guys/bartender seemed to be quite enough to have time to drink a shot with some customers) we asked to one of the girls if the drinks were actually on the way or not. She understood the situation, gave us a small cocktail offered by the house to both of us to apologise, and few minutes later we finally got our drinks. But still one drink was the wrong one (Italian rum chocolate instead of the hot toddy). I have to say that I really liked and enjoyed my mulled wine, but it probably didn't worth 35...
Read moreBeautiful. I really don't get down Peel St enough. A gem of the West End and La Moka is a gorgeous addition. This little coffee shop/bar was pumping on a Friday morning and righfully so. I nabbed a seat outside in the Winter sun, with my new book and to do a bit of people watching as well. Service was great, super friendly barista, and the coffee is ace! For the price, size, and taste it is such great value. You also get a little piece of delicious biscotti on the side. My previous go-to coffee shops in the city have unfortunately closed, so I am on the lookout for more! This has easily become one of those. Love your work....
