Pastagogo Norwood — Restaurant in Adelaide

Recently moved into Norwood and saw pasta gogo around the corner down the road from where I live. I’ve seen numerous instagram ads about them and I was so hyped to give it a go after a long day of work. Went in ordered a creamy chicken pappadelle and waited for 20 minutes for my pasta. Wasnt too fuzzed about the waiting time and I was more disappointed with the pasta. The pasta was so soggy and i doubt its due to me taking it away since I only live 1 minute away from the shop. The pasta was so overcooked to the point where it would fall apart when I tried to scoop it with my fork. I don’t know why there are so many 5 stars reviews about them but I’m surely unsatisfied with the food. One other thing is that they had broccoli in a creamy pasta. Something I would never expect considering this is an Italian pasta shop. What a let down after a long day and what’s more,...

We ordered creamy chicken fettuccine, creamy chicken penne, creamy mushroom risotto and carbonara fettuccine, all 4 pasta were in creamy sauce. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy their creamy sauce which was too thick, too strong and lack of other favour except the taste of think cream and cheese. I couldn't taste any other spice, and the pasta tasted so plain.

Overall speaking, I didn't like it at all. For the food quality, I would just give 2 Stars. However, the staff were nice and the food portion were alright, so overall rating would be increased to 3 Stars. I believe mixing a can of Campbell mushroom soup with spaghetti plus a little bit of meat or seafood would be much more delicious than their pasta.

I hope their pasta with red sauce would be better. However, I am not sure if I will return again based on the disappointed dining...

I was feeling a bit down and couldn't be bothered cooking so I ordered some pasta with a lovely friendly voice over the phone. When I arrived to pick it up I was greeted by a happy, smiling, friendly young lady who immediately uplifted my spirit. I noticed the 2 guys in the back cooking were also happy and smiling. I felt good when I left and I just want to say thank you to the lovely young lady for making my night. I have cancer and you never know someone else's story so many thanks to you. Pastagogo... Congratulations for employing such wonderful staff at your Norwood shop. I went at 7pm Saturday night 11/6 if you want to let your staff know how much I appreciated their smiles. Also, my pasta...
