A nice, solid and reliable coffee here at The Grind today. Service here is 5 stars with the friendly and accommodating gentleman barista. I was recommended to try this place from a work colleague and I'd be happy to return. The Cafe is a small little nook / frontage near the Portrush Road end of The Parade. There are 4 or 5 bar stools inside for a quick stop and three shaded tables on the footpath. Plenty of beans available for purchase also. Feels like it would be a local or daily favourite for some, especially on seeing the barista interacting with several other business owners as they were passing.

Popped in for a coffee on a cold, damp and dreary day. Nice little store but I was shocked to see fresh milk being added to milk that had already been textured which is a no no in my book. Coffee wasn't the worst I've had but I'm not sure if I enjoyed my experience there enough to return. Never say never, right?

The Grind @ Norwood is an absolute gem! They serve the best coffee on The Parade, with top-notch service and a super friendly barista. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family.

We were two mates catching up over coffee... When we stepped into The Grind, we were met with, "What can I get you two gentlemen?" - a good start. And it only got better: "Inside or outside?" We chose to sit inside at the bench. As we had just walked through the back streets of Norwood in the heat of the day, we decided it would be nicer inside under a cool draft. David gave great service and his regular blend tasted great all the way to the bottom of the glass (I had a small latte with an extra shot - drunk slow...). There is also an impressive range of roasted beans to choose from, ground or otherwise. At one stage, the aroma from this was so impressive, it stopped our "important" conversation and begged the comment, "Gee, that coffee smells good!" We paused for a few moments; heads tilted back; noses in the air, riding that magic waft of ground goodness... "Mmmmmm..." We paused a few moments more, trying to remember what we were talking about...

Many of the world's problems were solved over our coffees at The Grind, Norwood. ...

Just came in for a takeaway iced caramel latte, the gentleman making my coffee had great energy and took care and pride in making my coffee. First barrista i've seen put the syrup in with the coffee before pouring over the milk. Means I can actually taste the caramel in every sip! Seems simple but no one else seemed to think of it from other coffee shops. The coffee is so smooth! Not burnt or bitter. Was my first time here and I've just found my new regular coffee shop when on this side of town! Love to support those who take pride in their business! Good to see, keep it up! Left the shop with a smile on my face from the great service and an amazing coffee...
