SATHU’s Deli — Restaurant in Adelaide

Local to Sathu, I needed to check out what the hype was all about. I note that Sathu has done a commendable job with their marketing in all areas, which is what has made them so memorable to their visitors and passer-bys. They hit every mark, and go the extra mile to stand out as a brand, their forest green and brand motifs extending from their logo and branding to their interior design, unique customised sandwich wrapping and loyalty cards, merchandise - even the dog water bowl! 10/10 as a brand from a business front. I have tried several drinks off the menu, and as an avid Matcha & coffee drinker, must agree that both are done well at Sathu. Sandwiches - I’m always hesitant to spend any more than $12 on a sandwich, however the quality and complexity of Sathu’s ingredients are incomparable, and for $18 - it’s massive, so another 10/10 for value for money. Sathu definitely stands out amongst its competitors and thrives in its prime location. 🫶🏼🌲

SATHU’s Matcha Strawberry & Cotoletta (Crispy Chicken Sandwich): A Tasty Combo

Matcha strawberry looks as good as it tastes. The mix of green matcha and bright red strawberry layers makes it super eye-catching. The matcha brings that classic earthy flavor, while the strawberries add a nice sweet and tangy punch. Together, it's a fun, refreshing combo that’s perfect if you’re looking for something a little different.

As for the Cotoletta (crispy chicken) schiacciata , it’s all about that crunch! The chicken is golden and crispy, with some fresh lettuce for a bit of crunch and what looks like a creamy sauce to tie it all together. The bread is soft and light, making each bite super satisfying. 😋

I stumbled upon Sathu and it instantly became one of my favourite spots. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with just the right mix of lively energy and calm corners to relax. The coffee was absolutely top-notch — rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. I also tried their toasty and sandwiches and it was fresh and delicious.

The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, which made the experience even better. Whether you’re looking for a place to catch up with friends, get some work done, or just enjoy a good cup of coffee, Sathu is definitely worth a visit. Can’t wait...
