The bubble tea is probably the best I've ever had! 10/10!! Would love it if they did Coconut milk tea! Japanese chicken curry: 8/10. Needed more curry sauce. Karrage Bao: 8/10. Way way overpriced. These should be around $8. I LOVE the place. Definitely the best bubble tea I've ever had. Beats any place I've tried in Brisbane. My only annoyance is that the Baos are way too expensive for the portion you get. The Karrage could be a little less in price but the portions is ok aside from not enough curry sauce. Overall, love it but unfortunately I can't visit too much since it's expensive! Service was very friendly! The guy at the front counter was exceptional 🙂

We were looking for a place to eat for a Christmas dinner.. everything was closed and we saw this amazing place called Alley Cat! When I got their, I ordered four pieces of fried chicken and chips and it was the best fried chicken I’ve had in my entire life! They added just the right amount of flavour and fried it perfectly. The chips were seasoned perfectly and it was soo tasty! For my drink, I ordered peach berry tea with pearls and it was soo delicious, it was like I was in Taiwan. I would definitely recommend this place if you want something amazing, delicious, and amazing customer service. If I could give this a 10/5 I would! Definitely be back again 😊😊

Fantastic authentic traditional style food with a Purr-fect twist 😺 Alley-Cat is an amazingly delightful Cat themed Japanese cuisine restaurant tucked away on the Airlie Main Street. Always beautiful food that tastes great & yummy made in house drinks (Such as their Special Ice Crush or Bubble Tea), Paired with the wonderful service by the friendly and welcoming owners that run the shop. Whether dining in or taking away, Alley-Cat is an unfurr-gettable experience every time 😸

The food is amazing fresh and delicious. The staff are wonderful and always have a smile to make you feel welcome.

Because have the type of dishes served are fresh expect a little bit of a wait, but I have no issues with it, I would happily wait an eternity, due to the care and service of the staff as well as the quality and care invested in the meals prepared for you.

I was also lucky enough to try a future menu item sweet and spicy fried chicken it was different and delicious to what you could expect fried chicken to be. It consists of chicken wings and/or legs sprinkled with chill then coated in a cripsy batter fried, then a sweet soy/ teriaki sauce drizzled around it. (This dish paired well with my mango and passiofruit bobble tea.)

Hopefully on my next visit it will be on the menu as I am looking forward to having...

When walking into this place we were greeted with a friendly smile and a free sample of really tasty iced tea. We ordered a chicken katsu rice bowl, prawn rice bowl, veggie dumplings, Thai tea, and a full-sized order of the tea we sampled. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well. The dumplings were made fresh and the tea was the perfect level of sweetness. It was so good we came back for dinner and ordered udon. Which was also delicious. But, where they really excel is their customer service. We spoke to the woman who greeted us for 20 min at the end of our lunch. She told us about a lot of cool spots to check out around the city and even taught us how to write our names in her native language! 10/10 experience highly recommend...
