Blue Gem Takeaway — Restaurant in Bowral

My husband and I live in Bowral and didnt realised the fish shop was tucked away as you come out of Woolworths car park. The first thing that stuck me was the stench that came from smell of very old oil 🤢way beyond its use by date. The colour of the frozen fish left a lot to be desired ( grey and dry) I watching her apply the battered with bare hands taken off the excess batter by running her fingers down either side of the raw fish “NO GLOVE” I didn’t think you could go wrong with chip 😳 they were dry and old .. What a waste of $50 cash money time and my health! It started to repeat on us by the end of the first mouthful .. We ended up throwing it away and vowed never to buy from there again .. my husband and I have been sick all last night and today not being able to eat because we are so nauseous .. ALL I CAN SAY IS CHANGE YOUR OIL!!! You take cash for payment (avoiding tax) surely you make enough to change the oil in your deep fryers AND USE FRESH FISH!!! The produce in that shop looks like it’s been frozen for a very long time, properly imported!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 They should be reported to the health inspector and the tax...
