This is a counter review to the one left by Olaf Detering on 24/04/2018.
I was actually there and witnessed it. He entered the Death Star Canteen which is counter service only cafe, NOT table service. He sat there stewing, watching people ordering at the counter which any reasonable person would have ascertained it to not be table service at this stage. He then huffed and puffed, got up, mumbled at me something about service. He walked past the counter and complained as he was leaving that he didn't get service. The guy at the counter simply said it's not table service. He paused, processing this complex idea, and then turned and walked off.
Obviously he still didn't understand and wrote his review.
Anyway on to my review. I've been a regular customer for a year. Death Star Canteen is a really cool, quirky place. You can even write your own order out, bypassing all that bother. The coffee is excellent and the food is really good. The actual service, when you don't sit around stewing and being passive aggressive due to your own lack of understanding, is actually quite quick...
Read moreAs an avid Star Wars fan, I had to stop by the Death Star Cantina. They immediately win points for the name and decor. I ordered the bircher muesli, avocado on toast and an almond milk latte.
The latte arrived shortly, allowing me to enjoy the decor, a star wars lego death star, some wall stickers of storm troopers and various coffee/tea star wars parafanelia. The first sip in a new place is always a weary one. I hope it isnt bitter. I hope the shots arent burnt. I hope I don't hate it. This latte proved to be very creamy and went down very smooth. Perfect!
I received the muesli and toast shortly afterwards. They are generous portions, so in hindsight I ordered a bit too much for one (oh well, extra situps later). The muesli had chunks of apple and banana and was drizzled with honey. Very delicious. The toast was awesome, but then again, avocado on sesame seed toast, why not?
The server was very polite, fast and attentive. Perfect experience. I absolutely recommend the Death Stat Cantina for anyone from a guy looking for a cup of Joe to any Star Wars fan...

This is a cute and quite little cafe with nice and simple star war decorations.
Highlights: great food, fresh and super delicious, awesome presentation, coffee is reasonable taste and priced
Notes: if you are looking for fancy star war theme cafe as a big fan, don’t expect too much. They got some cute wall hangers only. They don’t speak “star war language” of any sort.... LOL
Downfalls: the ordering process is bit confusing, coffee only or food-with-coffee comes in different process, not well communicated from the sign at the front
If you wanna a friendly service with plenty of eye contact and a smile, this is not the place to go, service is pretty laid back and everyone seem bit too busy to do that
Also the shelves behind the counter looked a bit messy, with multiple items put together randomly, need a bit rearrange to meet the...
