A good spot for a really quick bite and a coffee..

The service is unbelievable, there are a billion staff behind the counter, and everyone knows what's going on.. The staff are always personable, and seem to have fun.

Considering how busy they are, they don't really need any reviews, there is always a coffee queue even at 7am (but the turnaround is amazingly quick).

Breakfast meals are simple (toast, heated rolls and toasties)..the price is good, but considering the simplicity off the meals it'd want to be.

Espresso Engine is located in the foyer of the Aurecon building, the building itself (and the cafe seating area) is incredible! The atmosphere and lighting is a great feature.

Coffee from here is average in my opinion, and varies greatly.

Still, if you're after a quick feed and a hit drink, it's worth a look.. Or if you just want to see how efficiently a cafe can be run, check them out at peak time (8:30 to 9:00 weekdays)!...

I was really looking forward to trying out this coffee shop, which was highly recommended by my colleagues, but I ended up experiencing bad customer service from Ivy when placing my order. Everyone else seemed friendly and gave off good vibes, except for her. She was already frowning when I walked up to the counter, looked at me impatiently while I placed my order, and even got my coffee size wrong until I pointed it out. Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant experience talking to her. I wish I had been served by the other lady next to her so my morning mood wouldn’t have been ruined.

I visited here with my colleague to grab a coffee before going into a meeting. I ordered a long black with one shot only as I wanted my coffee not strong at all. Due to the meeting I had near the shop, I could not finish it, but I did not want to waste it and asked for a takeaway cup. This gentleman at the counter said they could not offer takeaway as they are not allowed for a takeaway order. He kindly offered me to come back after my meeting so that he can make a coffee again for free of charge! It was such a kind offer and made my day. Although I was rushing to return to my office after the meeting I had near this shop, and was not able to get the free coffee, I really appreciated...
