My husband and I brought my Uncle here for lunch and weren’t very impressed. Our first issue was that despite ordering our mains and sides at the same time, each main would arrive one after the other. Once all mains were received and eaten, we then received our sides. This was disappointing as one of us was having the chicken wings as a main and the others want to enjoy the chips with their meals, not after. The chips were good but the chicken wings were dry. Had this place been busy then I could understand the wait times, this however was not the case.
The staff were quiet, it would be nice if they had more enthusiasm and checked in but they all seemed to flock together behind the bar and stand chatting.
The overall atmosphere was beautiful, we chose a great day to come out and my uncle enjoyed a change of scenery as he doesn’t get out much being a farmer in NZ. It was just a shame that we came here instead of wandering a few doors down to one of the nicer...

My uncle asked a waitress if they had any sugary drinks for her. Then the waitress came and checked on my sister.
