Valley Ink Tattoo Studio — Local services in Brisbane City

Today I had the nerve-racking experience of visiting Gox at Valley Ink Tattoo Studio for the first time. As a person who has quite a bit of ink that has all been done over the years by the same people starting to build a new relationship with an artist is very daunting to say the least. One asks themselves the usual questions like are we going to be on the same page, are they going to understand what I am doing with my ink, are they going to be a wanker that I don't want to spend time with and the list goes on.

Well, I am happy to report that Gox is a bloody legend. I had booked the tattoo to get more work on my knuckles a couple of months ago and of course I changed my mind on the morning of the appointment. Not an issue for Gox who worked with me to decide on what was going to look the best, totally got what I am doing with my ink and the whole process was seamless. His work is bloody awesome, and he is a great bloke to chat to.

The studio is impeccable, easy parking at the back, great interior, super friendly staff without any pretense and the whole experience was flawless.

Can’t speak highly enough of my experience with JamieWalkerTattoos at Valley Ink. The shop itself is welcoming, very clean, modern design, would be the perfect atmosphere especially for someone new to tattoos or nervous. Staff are friendly, welcoming, open and honest. I went in with a reference image, and they explained how they’d need to adjust it to keep the colours looking good, kept me updated, changed bits of the design as many times as needed to make it perfect, and went above and beyond to accommodate getting it completed before I leave town. Jamie’s a legend, and it’s already one of my favourite tattoos.

My friends and I came in as a walk-in and we were tattooed by Mimi - she was so courteous, professional and wonderful to chat with. We all felt so welcomed by her - she even visited us in the morning to give us cafe recommendations before our tattoos 😁 the tattoos turned out incredible and we're all so happy with them, she is an incredibly skilled tattoo artist and the studio was clean and well-furnished. Mimi was accommodating to my many skin allergies and I did not get any flare-ups or reactions, which I am so thankful for. We'll definitely be going back to Mimi in the future, such a wonderful experience for all of us!!...
