Whilst the seafood was lovely and fresh, the price for what you get just don’t marry up. The sushi mariawase was pretty good but as with all the dishes we had, the rice was under seasoned and fell apart really easily…..too easily and for $47 I expect this to be spot on. The gyoza was $19 for the 4 pieces and wasn’t anything special. The two bug rolls were $16 and didn’t have much bug in them and lacked a punch (Rickshaw’s bug rolls are double this for $20 and an ocean view to boot) maybe a nice dill based sauce inside. One of the best sushi places in Brisbane. They usually have very fresh fish which makes their sushi taste extra yummy. We usually go for their Rainbow/Salmon/Salmon aburi box & the prices are reasonable for the portions you get.

Fresh Sushi Co is about a 3.5 rating, gave 4 instead of 3 as the service has always been friendly. The fish is good quality, you won't be disappointed about the freshness however, in my opinion, the pricing is too high for what you get. The location has a lot to do with the pricing and I understand a business needs to cover costs, maximise profits.
