Wynnum Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Long story short - this is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had the experience of tasting! We ordered the honey pepper beef, garlic chicken, and seafood supreme and I could not fault a single dish!! I’m a big lover of seafood and find that when I order seafood dishes they tend to come with 80% veggies and 20% meat and this time I was so pleasantly surprised with the portion of meat that came in my meal! The beef in the honey pepper beef was so soft and the flavour was so beautiful, especially paired with the fried rice! The garlic chicken was a safe bet as it’s what I know would go down well with my kids, what I didn’t expect though was that they both went back for multiple portions! When I went to pick up the order, the girl at the front was so friendly and polite and the man in the kitchen came out to say thank you personally and it was such a warm and inviting experience no matter how short lived. Will be coming back again and every time...

Had a 45th wedding anniversary there,for my brother and his lovely wife.HER meal came out LAST,90MINS after ordering,and all others had finished.Had to remind waitress,who was lovely,but i think kitchen forgot the lady of the hour's meal,and had to cook when reminded of it. Had 20 guests,general concensus was it was "not bad",certainly not great,very average.Mongolian Beef,was chewy(a pet hate of mine w chinese).Sweet n sour Pork was much more batter then pork,and slightly chewy) Fried Rice was pretty bland,looked like white rice with prawns peas,egg,and ham mixed in to it.Prawn cutlets were fine. Combination Phoenix nest also good. Waitress,lovely,competent,cheerful. Overall,,GOOD,not great. Mains...

The food here was worse than anything I have ever had before.... I had ordered the "roast duck", not even a small handfull was meat... The rest was bones and skin drowned in oil. I had told the staff that I was unhappy with the meal and got told "it's not their fault the food is bad" will never be going back here again!! Crap customer service, overpriced, disgusting food... This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star!! My advice, don't waste your time or money here... A Maccas cheeseburger would be better tasting then anything they...
