⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jeon’s Kitchen - A Hidden Michelin-Star Gem in Brisbane!

Jeon’s Kitchen is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Korean cuisine. Jeon, who is without a doubt the best Korean chef in Australia, crafts unique dishes that are simply top-tier. His citrus chicken is nothing short of world-class, with flavours that are perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. The rice cake infused in sweet chilli sauce is a culinary delight that I can’t recommend highly enough – it’s truly to die for.

The Jjambbong here is unparalleled, easily the best you’ll find anywhere in Australia. Every dish is prepared with such care and passion that you can taste it in every bite. This place is a hidden Michelin-star gem in Brisbane and truly deserves such recognition.

The service was exceptional, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Jeon, the owner, is not only an amazing chef but also the most welcoming and gracious host you could hope to meet. If you’re in Brisbane and love Korean food, Jeon’s...

This is one of the most authentic Jjampong that I have tasted in Brisbane. I’m a true Jjampong lover and since I have been in Brisbane, there aren’t as many Korean restaurants that I have been to that serve Jjampong that is authentic to taste. This is a must-try if you love seafood noodles in spicy beef bone broth. You can also have the option to make it less spicy by informing the kitchen after you order!

Other than the Jjampong, we also had Bossam (boiled pork belly) as a shared dish which was delicious. Boss Jeon was really friendly and approachable. He taught us how to enjoy the Bossam with the sides - lettuce, fresh chilies and garlic, pickled veg, and ssamjang.

The restaurant is located in an alleyway with other restaurants. Overall, my companions and I enjoyed our meal! Will be back to try other...

Jeon’s Kitchen Month of visit: June 2024

I came here due to a meeting with my colleague and she said that this place is very popular for Korean food in Brisbane. I also have listed this place in my list due actually. I ordered the Korean chicken and chips with soy sauce, and it was perfect! The chicken was juicy, not getting chewy or hard although it is not warm anymore. The chips were thin and perfectly fried.

The only downside is i asked for takeaway my food and it took quite long to get the container. Tucked in a small alley at Fortitude Valley, this place is...

I had such a delicious Bulgolgi at Jeons Kitchen. Unexpectedly stumbled across it during the day and came back for dinner as I love Korean. Flavours were all fresh and you could tell they were homemade as they were quality and not sugary. The lady who's erved us was super friendly very down to earth and the chef even stepped out to talk to me about how he made aspects of the food. Overall great dinner and experience. My partner loved her soba noodles which I tried and also loved. Will be back to try the seafood soup with extra chilli next time!
