Service and food could definitely have some improvement.
After booking through face book when we arrived we were told â we donât have your bookingâ and advised to âsit anywhereâ a young lady took us to a table and as we went to order food we were told we had to move to the one next to it as they had another booking come through. The table of 6 next to us where also asked to move to another table as another booking was coming; didnât offer to move water or cutlery , they were clearly not happy about having to move when there was enough space, also shows youâre not as important as incoming guests. We ordered our food and drinks, at no point was it mentioned that we were to get our own cutlery, after 15 mins our starters arrived and still no drinks , asked for drink and cutlery and was told â itâs up frontâ and that they would get the drink. The staff member could have got the cutlery seen as they were already getting the drink they forgot. Spring rolls were nice; but not like they are usually full of meat so no surprise. BBQ bun was nice, chow mein was bland and mushy, made me feel sick to eat. The vegan sweet sour nuggets were inedible, the dough tasted like a sugary donut and filling no flavour. No one came to check on us during our order, everyone was made to move to accommodate a large Asian family who got Menus and cutlery brought over to them. There was definitely no love at this hut thatâs for sure. Was excited to visit after reading reviews but honestly couldnât wait to leave. Not worth the trip , could have looked past the service of food was nice but was just not good, sorry. Wouldnât come back, has put me off...

We had the pleasure of dining at Loving Hut Brisbane as a part of our birthday celebration, and it turned out to be the perfect end to a special day. We started with the Salt and Pepper Mushrooms, which were golden, crisp, and perfectly seasonedâan ideal appetiser. For mains, we indulged in the Mushroom Carbonara and the Seven Seas Delight. The carbonara, especially, stole the show with its creamy, rich, and satisfying flavour, while the Seven Seas Delight offered a bold mix of textures and tastes.
For dessert, we treated ourselves to the Raw Blueberry Cake. Although it was a bit frozen and a little hard to cut at first, it quickly warmed up to reveal its delightful tasteâa sweet finish that was almost as good as the meal itself.
The atmosphere is relaxed with simple, café-style decor, complemented by friendly and welcoming staff. Parking is a breeze, and the easy street-level access makes it great for those with mobility issues. There's even a clean, well-maintained toilet out back (just ask for the key).
We recommend booking ahead, as the place fills up quicklyâespecially on a busy Friday night. Whether you're celebrating a birthday or simply looking for a delicious vegan meal, Loving Hut Brisbane is a must-visit...
Read moreWe went for lunch. We ordered the lasagne, and the rawsome dish and there was also a soy nugget dish. The soy nuggets were delicious and very reasonably priced but seriously let down by the rawsome dish which was supposed to be zucchini noodles with like a sauce. It comes out and it is all noodles and virtually no sauce at all.... like a dessert spoon. It cost me around $15 from memory so I asked for more sauce.. so I got another very small dessert spoon. It was a fairly expensive dish considering all it basically was was a shredded raw zucchini. If I hadn't ordered the other dish it would have been seriously boring. My partner got the lasagna which was pretty average. There was a language barrier when ordering and the lady who took our order didn't seem to know anything about the menu. She had to keep ducking back to the kitchen to ask questions. The gluten free menu also differed from what was up on the board. It was kind of confusing. It is worth going to though as the nuggets were very good and maybe other things on the...
