Mad Kitchen has been around for several years, surviving both COVID-19 and a depressed economy. I'll admit it's been a while since I've been back to Mad Kitchen, so I was pleasantly surprised to see them still in business. The service is always polite and friendly, and the food is usually delivered promptly, though usual time of day allowances have to be factored in. The menu has always focussed more on the more healthy side without being too exorbitant; unlike one of their competitors across the road who feels healthy food should be paid by its weight in gold. Plenty of seating, predominantly under shade means you can have a leisurely coffee whilst watching the traffic surge past RBWH. Admittedly it isn't the most ambient setting, but for a quick breakfast coffee or a lunch, Mad Kitchen does a fine job of it.

A nice concept of burgers, sandwiches and salads. I chose a salad of Brussel sprouts, green apple, onion, walnuts. The Brussels were sliced raw and very crunchy with a lot of chewing and the salad just seemed very repetitive. I paid $6 to add grilled lamb. I got 4 pieces of reheated lamb. It was tasty enough but I did expected the lamb to be cooked to order so not as good as it sounded. I think the menu is too large for the size of the venue. I suggest focusing on some specialties to avoid the precooking dilemma. Thank you for lovely friendly service! I enjoyed my chai very much!

What friendly people who without batting an eye lid agreed to charge my phone and then fed us a hearty breakfast with outstanding coffee. Young Rikki fuelled up with avocado smash before his trial with the QLD Reds Academy team which he was very appreciative of.

I work nearby and come here daily — I’ve pretty much eaten my way through the entire menu! I absolutely love this place. There’s a great variety of lunch and breakfast options, the coffee is consistently excellent, and the food is always fresh and full of flavour.

My all-time favourite has to be the toasted Reuben sandwich — it’s incredible, and such good value.

I’ve noticed a few comments about pricing, but honestly, I think some people are out of touch with the realities of running a business in this economy. Considering the quality, freshness, and the variety of both heathy and delicious options on offer aswell as the love and care put into each meal, I think the prices are more than fair. This place...

A delicious, Greek style cafe that's perfect for lunch when near the busy RBWH precinct. The food is fresh and reasonably priced, with a variety of offerings including burgers, sandwiches, souvlaki specials and fresh salads. Service is polite and friendly despite having to deal with many customers around the noon rush. Portions are generous so bring your appetite. The location near busy Bowen Bridge Road adds to the very ordinary feel of the location, so don't expect quiet dining or a stunning view. Lunchtimes can get very busy and, with limited seating, it's therefore best to book ahead if you're a party of...
