Went for Super Bowl and overall pretty disappointing for $79. The Brazilian lass that served me was great and the tacos were good. The rest was not so good. It was a 3 hour food & bev package of beer, margaritas, tacos & wings. I ordered just a schooner of beer at 9.50 for 10am start as that was the time they could start serving. It arrived at 10.20 even though there was only about 40 people there. Ordered 3 tacos and they were pretty good except for the vego one. I was told in a message and also it was advertised as on large screen tv's...pfft 42" is not a large screen, they were tiny (see photo) mine at home is 70". Ordered some wings and they arrived without sauce. Tried to get some but was told that would cost extra...not happy about that. Next beer came pretty quick so all good. My next beer took 23 minutes and had to ask 3 staff and was not happy at this stage and received a margarita fairly promptlyTable 11 must have been friends of owner/manager as their food and drinks were flying out at a rate of knots. The 2 good reviews for super bowl must have been.on that table. The table of 8 beside me walked out after they ordered food and drinks before table 11 had even arrived and they got theirs before them. They left at 10.25 after not receiving anything and were not happy. There was also a serious lag between the sound and picture. Would go back for the food but never a sporting event. Could definitely use a couple of LARGE projector screens. The person that took my money apologised and said they were short staffed but there seemed enough to my eye. Just wish I had of known whom table 11 knew.

What a let down 😭 😭 😭 Came here because of decent reviews and a love for TexMex. Below are the things that El Camino should be ashamed of: 1. Customer service. Assignment of tables. We booked in advance and got the shitiest smallest table next to the walking path. Seeing there were MANY free tables I politely asked to relocate us. The hostess said our only other option is to sit at the bar table. Guess what? When we were leaving most of the tables were still free....like why? 2. Food quality. For the price you pay (which is above average) it was so much below average. 3. Margs. Ehm you call yourself texmex restaurant but why your margs taste like sour water? 4. You FORCED to pay through the QR code. When you pay through it you have to pay venue surcharge (6.5%) and payment service fee (on top). What? I'm paying more for owners to be able to employ less staff who normally takes my order? RIP OFF. I won't be back and really puzzled why on earth this place has so many good reviews.

Confirm what your getting! Table service would have saved the day. Order through app, all.table orders were missing items and one order had an ingredient specified for removal. Inattention in the kitchen. Ordering through the app, does not = what's in the picture. One person ordered a Margarita off the Margarita page and one off the cocktail page...stick with the cocktail page, if you want something that remotely tastes like a Margarita and not postmix (fine if you want a big night, and the aim is to get drunk on whatever...and not taste). Staff were attentive, however and kind. Food was very tasty. Unfortunately it was small things that let down the overall experience 😕. Particularly a lack of table service. I think this would have negated some of the errors.

I came with my gf on a thursday night, the place was busy and we were seated on a table with no QR code. I only saw 2 staff dealing with all the customers and we had a hard time placing our orders because the staff were very busy (the QR codes would've helped), and then we had to wait at least 30min for another staff to notice us when we wanted to order additional drinks, overall a bad experience due to the place being under-staffed considering that some tables dont have QR. Idk if it was that one night or it is like this usually, Ive been to other El Camino Cantinas and their service was great. Also, there was a fly or moth on the thing holding our drinks! (Photo) Hopefully this is taken into account. The nachos are great though

Super lovely and exciting furnishment The service is great and waiters are friendly However, the food is a disaster. We ordered two quesadillas which are terrible. Pork and chicken taste not fresh and it’s too much cheap cheese inside. We totally can’t eat them especially the pork one and have to take away but I believe they will all go to the bins. The price is actually high among all restaurants in this street. Like cocktails are around 18-20 and beers are around 10. There’s a bit table service but basically self service which is, to be honest, kinda like G&G. So I guess I will probably go for Gomez instead of this one when I feel like Mexican food.
