Normally a fan. Today however was the worst restaurant experience I have even had or have even seen (and I have been a chef for near on 20 years myself)
Ordered a 1L beer and got a 500ml beer. The bartender then proceeded to pour the old beer into a new 1L glass after I mentioned our order was wrong (gotta low a flat beer right?) Finally got the new beer that I ordered after he made an excuse "I was just going to reuse a little bit" WTH??? Got the wrong order of wings completely. Replaced it with a half old set of wings (like cold leather) and half a nicer fresh set. Forgot all the additional paid condiments we ordered. The battered fried pickles that use to be whole one's in the past, now we're cut in half down the middle then battered, causing one side of the batter to turn to flour slop from the pickle juice coming out from where they were cut. (This is a poor money saving attempt)
The only saving grace was, the lovely hard working lady who I assumed was the team leader was picking up the pieces and tried her hardest to fix the issues. She understood we didn't want to complain but seemed to be trying her hardest to juggle incompetent fresh off the boat staff that didn't want to be there. (Pay the right price and get the right staff, don't cut corners with this or the business will go under in no time)
The restaurant mananager and owner need to open their eyes and take care of their number 1 investment and ensure the customers are not paying $100+ dollars for service I would expect from a bad macdonalds.

Read moreWe came before our event at the Brisbane showgrounds. Good atmosphere and ordered a burger and some wings. The place was not very busy. 30mins later our food has not arrived and no communication between the staff and our table. Walked up to ask for some assistance and was told there is a wait to took into our order. There was plenty or food coming out of the kitchen but seem to have been prioritised for take away. Seems very under staffed. 1hour later, food still hasn’t arrived and no communication regarding the whereabouts of our order. I went to the manager and asked for a refund as we were late for our event and he instantly go our meals sorted, he wasn’t aware that we have asked for an update regarding our food beforehand. Lack of communication. Spoke to other customers and they were waiting 1.5 hours for their food. ridiculous considering the place was not busy. Food came out- Burger was overwhelmed by salt and wings were cold. Terrible, lacked flavour. Would not recommend to come eat here ever....

We are so incredibly disappointed. We realised when we arrived home that we received half the wings we ordered and this was a devastating discovery given we had waited almost 30mins longer than the app indicated(almost an hour in total). Half of the order must have been sitting waiting because half of the food was piping hot and the rest was stone cold. Mixed service standards from the staff where one rudely brushed off my husbands enquiries as to the wait, another noticed and apologised offering a complimentary drink. The coleslaw was pretty tasteless but the mash potato was nice. I’m sure the wings are better when they are fresh. I don’t normally post negative reviews online but there’s no phone number I can find for the restaurant and their Facebook page told me they don’t respond to messages. Just a...
